  1. They do have a natural harbor and if the Bohol local govt gives the green-light on it, it’s got potential. I just hope the natural beauty doesn’t get replaced with urban sprawl. Right now Jagna may be simple, but it’s very green and lush.

  2. have you been in anda sir?,, i would suggest visiting it… it got nice white sand beaches … and nice people…a paradise within a paradise… majority of beaches there are owned by foreigners, but there are also public beach if you’re on a budget.. hehe…

  3. Several people have been telling me about Anda, so I’m very curios to go. I’ll have to visit and take my vid-cam along to share what I see. 🙂

  4. I was only in Jagna for two days, but there near the pier the beaches are all rocks. Maybe there are some sandy beaches in Jagna.. anyone know of any?

  5. Yes, in fact just behind the merkado (where the port is) there is a very nice, clean hotel/pension house with a net cafe downstairs. From the balcony of the rooms you can see the ocean. I think my room there was less than 600P for the night. But very clean, I’d stay there again. There are also some good bbq’s just to the side of the merkado as well.

  6. im sure you wont regret it.. try to google it for pictures to see the beauty of it… accommodations here are cheap.. ranging from 300 pesos up…

  7. I may have to make an overnight trip of that.. see what’s what over there. Jagna is only about 30 minutes Vhire from Tagbilaran. I’ll have to plan a trip. 🙂

    1. @Bryan Stigler i’m not much of a fisherman, but at the merkados there’s always plenty of big fish.. so i’d say fishing is good at most islands i’ve been to. 🙂
