  1. Tascam;  I much prefer Dumaguete over Cebu, but then I prefer smaller cities over big cities.  If I were to live in Cebu, I would prefer to live either in a gated subdivision or at a provencial outskirt of the city limits and commute in.  I enjoy the heart of the city.. for a few days.  But I would never want to live in it.

  2. Hey Henry your in Cebu? I’ve been here a week and now I’m on my way to Boracay. I love this place but it’s a little more expensive then I anticipated. I’m definitely coming back though.

    1. @Reginald Nedd Cebu is like the ‘hub’ of my travels and i always enjoy passing through for a few days.  i have several good friends there and some nice things to do there.

  3. Fires are one thing my wife is always worried about.  She even hated the idea of me lighting a candle at home here in the states.  Of course now she’s buying candles.
In Cebu, she always told me the fire departments weren’t that good, and you see the traffic there.  Can you imagine being a fire truck or ambulance trying to get through the mass of traffic?

    1. @Andrew Llera the first accident i almost had when learning to ride my scooter was from being bum-rushed from behind by an ambulance without it’s siren on.  that would have been ironic.

  4. Henry , New GF ?  Glad to see you are doing well . Question ? I will be in Boracay for a few weeks in November with my Filipina from manila , Any imput on a nice place to stay there ? Station 1,2,3, ,Any help would really be appreciated .Thanks and thanks for all your vids . Aloha Scott

  5. Yes, Brother Henry, fire is always a big problem in Banana Republics.  Shoddy construction including lack of firewalls and fire-resistant materials is almost always a contributing factor.

Then, of course, the congestion, lack of roadway safety and traffic enforcement hinders a quick knock-down.
