Travel to and from the Philippines by air is in transition during these challenging times. The Philippines government and the main airport, NAIA, in Manila have been allowing several airline flights most days but now are restricting them.

  1. I think travelling to other countries need to wait for couple months or even a year. Same here in France will not accept tourist for this year I think.

  2. Hi Rod. There has been several sweeper flights back to Australia recently and I noticed a few Flights from Australia to the Philippines for Filipino Citizens. I am thinking this year will be a write off as far as international travel will go. All the best Rod, take care ๐Ÿ™‚๐Ÿ‘

  3. Well my visa expires on May 9th. So we are having a contest here in our neighborhood of friends to guess when I will be able to renew it. Since I am over 65 it will be interesting. The pot for the winner gets bigger with each bet.

  4. I wonder if the repatriation flight from Manila to LAX is still a go?? In my opinion the US Embassy has been less than helpful in this whole episode.. First they are late to the game.. The Brits, Danes, Australians are all already gone.. I wonder how many Americans have taken these pricey sleeper flights to Manila after booking the pricey flight to LAX, and now won’t be able to go on May 9th.. I am registered in the STEP program, and have been sent absolutely nothing, information wise.. Makes me wonder about Bengazi.. I could tell you a nightmare story about a friend of mine that was in Lebanon during crisis times, and what the US Embassy did for him there, nothing.. Anyway, this will all play out.. We will see how it goes.. Thanks for the video as always.. Take care, Brother…

  5. Thank you Rod for the important information, Iโ€™m still in Cebu city but since Iโ€™m retired I have no worries except for being able to renew my tourist visa and being able to go back to Quezon Philippines where my girlfriend is. Take care and stay safe.

  6. Lol. Yur so right in that things constantly change. I wish there was a way to determine if BI offices are operational or not. If one is in a now GCQ area does that mean they’re now open ?? You never can find info or updates on things like this.

  7. Looks like Thailand and Vietnam are in far better shape to return to some semblance of normality – especially with regards to getting tourists back.
