Titay’s Bakery Liloan, Cebu Philippines

There’s an excellent bakery named Titay.s in Liloan on the right side of the main highway as you come into Liloan heading south and near Mandaue City and Cebu City. There is a large parking area and often buses stop in here so the passengers have a place to eat and use the CR. The bakery has a lot of bakery and packaged items to choose from. One of these is their own brand of “Otap” another of my favorites. Their speciality is a sandwich I have never seen anywhere else called a “Meat Roll” made from a shredded barbeque pork in a roll something like a hamburger bun, the pork melts in your mouth. You need to come early though, they usually run out in the early afternoon. These sandwiches are delicious and I always buy several when I come through here. They have many different packaged baked items all baked at this bakery. Inside the bakery you will often find a man playing a harp and he is quite good at it, this trip he was playing Christmas music. I always make a point to drop in a few pesos as this seems to be his only income. We have been visiting this Bakery since 2004 and the same guy had been there all this time playing his harp.
