  1. The next step is what I have, that’s 80 gallons of hot water heated by a solar panel on the roof with electric backup in case of many cloudy days and high hot water demand. It seems I can’t run out of hot water and pay next to nothing to heat it. Unlike the instant heaters that limit how much hot water you can flow, and only one point of use, I can stream the hot water as fast as I want and it is available at all the sinks and washer machine and dishwasher and other showers and bathrooms. Still what you have now is huge upgrade from the bucket shower. Great video for those that don’t realize how primitive it can be in other parts of the world.

  2. I remember when you got the drop in heater and you were skeptical of getting a shock. hehe With the base temp of the water from the pipes those shower heaters work well. Thanks for the video!

  3. We used an element in our showerbucjet worked well but ive installed a new shiwer and hot water service and its good pressuer could be better but thats fuxable as well

  4. I have gotten used to the cold showers. After the first pitcher of water 🥶 I don’t really notice the water temperature. When we return we might put in a water heater. Not really sure. Best wishes Bob.
