  1. Mr Brown all is well now with your Tuk-tuk and sadly you have to take it to the dealers to fix ,you was a teacher not a mechanic so best it goes to the right person to be fixed and yes your Tuk-tuk is very important to you but better to be safe than sorry .thankfully a quick fix and your on the road ,have a great evening 🙂

  2. It was the wire that connects to the clutch safety switch. The ignition is wired so that it will only turn over if its in neutral or the clutch lever is pulled in. I was going to tell you to check the wire plug in or alot of the times the contacts just need to be cleaned in the switch which is located at the end of the clutch lever. Glad they figured it out quickly.

  3. Predicting the switch for the clutch has failed or a wire has become disconnected from it. Will watch and learn. Yes it’s a very important function.

    Have a great day sir.

  4. the way you told this; i was waiting for you to say that the working girl had messed up your vehicle on purpose, so that you had to stay close to her, leading you to eventually pay for her services lol

  5. You should have asked Gloria what to do. 🤣 My guess is at your age you won’t decide to do it today and not tomorrow. It’s just the way you are. Have a great day. Best wishes Bob.

  6. Bud, being an electrician and troubleshooter for decades before my retirement, I was trouble shooting your problem as soon as you described it. I was thinking there has to be parallel switches in the transmission and clutch circuits. I knew the circuit was open in the clutch circuit, and knew it was most likely a loose wire if the switch was not defective. I had it figured out before you had your coffee. Glad it was an easy fix for you and not something that tied up your tuk tuk for too long. Hope they did not charge you for that simple fix.

  7. That restaurant at the airport looked a lot like the one we visited but it was called the Finishline Bud. The girls name there was Donna. Just wondering if its changed hands now?
