  1. Hi Rob, I use a VPN because I don’t like the idea of people knowing where I am and I can access movies that are not available in the UK. Take care GOD Bless you and yours
    M

  2. Hey Rob, 1st of all thnx for the infos. 2nd, what about a video about Amazon in Thailand ?? It works as intended ?? U can buy anything like in quite any part of the world ?? There will be delays compated to other Countries (not considering pandemia situation) ?? May i find some weird problems/restrictions using my actual Italian/EU account there ??

Thnx, lookin forward to the 90days goal ! 😉

  3. Good suggestion Rob, not just for Thailand, but Airports are hot spots for identity theft.
I remember talking to a bar owner who had to remove a key logger from the bars PC after he bought the bar, not saying it was the previous owner that installed it, but somebody did.
I use a PC at home for normal use but a laptop, tablet and smartphone for travel, all with a VPN.

  4. I use a VPN (not Nord) and find most of the time it’s fine but some websites that have high security will not let you use a VPN. So I end up turning it off for that website and then turn back on after.

  5. A 7 minute ad with an affiliate link. And by the way, some banks block you if you try to use a VPN. Bank of America app won’t work if you use Nord, for example. Even from here in the US.

  6. These videos are so much better than the ones focusing on bars, girls, and things – It’s like when you began the channel… After that, it slowly went very MALE oriented rather than suitable for ALL. It would be good if you could keep this up so that you capture all demographics/genders. It just shows you that there must be so much to talk about in Thailand rather than, well, you know what… Stay well. 🙂 J

  7. I actually have to use two separate VPNs in Thailand. Nordvpn works great for things like Netflix, hulu, and Amazon, but my bank in the US blocks nordvpn as does my investment broker. I use a different VPN service, Private Internet Access, to help me with those sites.

Also, 3BB gigabit speed fiber into my house costs me ฿1284 per month which is probably a little bit of Overkill, but it’s not bad at all.

  8. When I first arrived in Thailand in 1997, the internet was dial up, and it kept disconnecting at best. Most of the time it wouldn’t even connect. I took me almost an hour to make a Hotmail account. Made the change from AOL.

  9. I pay 500 a month for 200+down and 100+up in Issan near Udon Thani city. I use a VPN and have done for a while now so I can watch UK shows and things form other places and that works well for me. I have noticed some things getting booked but I just get around things. I use surf shark and it’s very good and a good price ☺️
