  5. Thanks Joe and Gift, I like the area around Hua Hin, Pranburi & Prachuap. Really enjoying watching these road trips very much. Looking forward to seeing many more, safe travels to you both.

  6. Last time there stayed at the other end of Hua Hin near the Blue port shopping center and walked to the beach from there to Hua Hin and that is one heck of a exercise, Nice way to burn the calories from all the food I eat.

  7. Prachuap is such a beautiful place. I would love to visit there on my upcoming trip. Cheers from Australia Joe and Gift!πŸ‘πŸ‡¦πŸ‡ΊπŸ™‚

  8. Hey Joe, how come the dealer couldn’t organize the regular number plates for you? Seems like an awful hassle those red plates. I’ll be buying a new car in November, do all the dealers deliver their sold cars with red plates? Does this mean that you’re going to go to their DMV to register your car on white plates? Cheers.

    1. The dealership is organizing the white plates for me my friend, it is just taken them some time. As I understand it, all new cars receive temporary plates which are red. Once the dealership receives the white plates from DMV, they will call me, at which time I will turn in my white plates in exchange for the red ones. Tax, tag, insurance and registration was all part of the package when I purchased my SUV. All the best!

  9. Gow low is – I think – noodle soup without the noodles! That won’t give hunger the heave ho. Carb me up, is my motto. (That was a good value lunch).

  10. I am staying in Prachuap KK at the moment having escaped from Chiang Mai and it’ smog season, just reported in The Nation as worse in the world.
Love PKK for it is so quiet and laid back. The locals are all typically Thai friendly. I have found a newly built hotel that will accommodate me for B350/ night on a stay of 60 days pre paid in advance, very nice and spotlessly clean. Know the area your staying passed it the other day when I was hunting for a shop to do my dhobi.
