  1. Awesome video Joe and Gift. The
creek/river footage at the start reminded me so much of where my parents live here in Australia. *The roads less travelled are often the best. Cheers ๐Ÿป

    1. The Boston Common was used for cattle grazing from 1634 to 1817. The redcoats also used it for an encampment for eight years starting in 1768. Alas all the cattle have moved to the suburbs now. A lot of the dairy farms make their own ice cream and milk.

    1. I’m thinking about starting to do the same. My girlfriend in Bangkok said we can go anywhere I want to go and do what I want to do but I’m at a loss for ideas lol

  2. HEY JOE AND GIFT AND OTHER PEOPLE, GREAT VIDEO GUYS. I’LL HAVE TO GET WITH YOU AND FIND OUT EXACTLY WHERE THOSE PLACES ARE BEFORE I GO ON MY TRIP WITH MY GIRLFRIEND AT THE END OF THE MONTH.

  3. Unbelievable how nice the country really is, she had a lot of cattle and amazing how they just walk to the water ๐Ÿ’ง hole,๐ŸŒด๐Ÿ‘๐ŸŒด just arrived in California ,canโ€™t wait to return in March or April 1๐Ÿ‘

    1. MisterMitch Thanks Mitch ,for some reason over the last 10 plus years , weโ€™ve been invited to nascar in Vegas someone I associate with sponsors Saturdayโ€™s race so we get weekend all access pass vip which you canโ€™t purchase, I seen a missed call and it was my invitation ,

    1. John B ….LOL… cracked me up… I think Joe thought the momma helping the baby calf down was cool.. how cool is that… and Jonny says… havenโ€™t you seen cows before… who haha he … now thatโ€™s real shit… love it

  4. My plan is to become a traveler. Me and my thai girlfriend plan to visit all kinds of countries in the future. She already does and it happened to be something I want to do. But another thing i want to do is see a lot of places in Thailand. I may rewatch videos of yours in the future to get ideas.

  5. Oh look cows drinking water, (crazy ass) OMG, that is so funny. I would stand and watch also but I am just like that. I know around here on a few of our bike runs that we had to stop to let them get off the road. Here the sob’s will go after you. They are not suppose to be on the road and found a way to wander around. I guess you are in winter the trees look kind of bare like here. Very good investment that SUV..

  6. Wow! This part of Thailand is very nice. Very chilled out, no crowds, horns and less or no tourist, is a good thing. Always nice to have the place to yourself. Youโ€™re never to far from a 7-11 in Thailand.

  7. I’ve never been to this particular place before but it reminds me of the roads/ highway between Pitsanulouk and Petchaboon long time ago at least 40 yrs. There were a few falls and creeks like what we see in this clips. I miss those days. Thanks for take us along.
The temples always build things little by little depend on donations and how big they want the goals to be.

  8. Beautifull area s Joe , we love that hotel to ,, I can find many places to paint in that park . Thanks kindly for showing us round . Its true what you say about having a car thats why I allways either rent one or use my FILโ€S ,,,,,,,,,, safe trip back to BKK , dont rush take your time

    1. Thanks for uploading we look forward each day to seeing whatโ€™s coming next . Tv in the UK is crap so basically we watch 80% YT , I like a lot of learning videos to , cooking / painting / travel etc . I expect your a long way down the road now , but maybe for another day Khamphangphet where my wife went to uni and Sukkhothai historical park are well worth a look , I paint in the park every year . We stay at Sawasdee Sukkhothai resort every year on our travels , not the cheapest but very very nice good swimpool + top thai breakfast + just back down the road turn left then on the right side a superb evening meal,,,,chok Di

  9. Beautifull scenery that creek or river and water falls are beautifull its just soo relaxing and to hear and see water running i rekon all the best from aus mate

  10. It look like they could do with some rain around there all the grass and every thing looks a bit dry that temple is beautifull even though they are still working on it mate

  11. Nice video guys, thank you… “…never seen cows before?..”..”of course I’ve seen cows before, ya’ crazy arse! I’m from America..” lol!! ๐Ÿ˜‚

  12. Not wrong Joe , Thailand has many amazing hidden gems , too many “tourists”never see , confining themselves to the tourist and red light areas .
You Americans had Crazy Horse , we have Crazy Ass Jonny from Australia lol .

  13. Probably the best part of this video was when Gift translated your questions and we learn something new about Thai culture. More similar conversations, please ๐Ÿ™‚

  14. Hi Joe, you asked too many questions to the builder guy, if it was in US someone building a worship place, they would ask for little contribution … i am glad he did not ask for money… hehe.. cheers..

    1. @MAX H0202 I love Hoboken, wish I could afford to live there. It was cheap when I was growing up but now property tax went through the roof. I use to deliver the Jersey Journal and Hudson Dispatch, shine shoes and carry little old ladies groceries home as a kid. Some great memories. All the best!

    2. The builder was very happy and proud to let me ask him questions. Even after, when Gift and I started to walk away, he came back and wanted to talk for another 15 minutes. After all was said and done, we noticed a big black locked ๐Ÿ”’ box for donations and I was very happy to donate to the building of the temple. All the best my friend.

  15. Very beautiful video Joe, I love the rural areas, the people are so generous with their time and very friendly always smiling even though many live a very physically hard life.
Thanks for sharing, many blessings to you, Gift and family๐Ÿ™
    Cheers ๐Ÿป

  16. There is a national park in the kalacine area that has one if the best prehistoric and dinasaur museums I have seen. I have been to Thailand 3 times. But much more to see. Too much time in the cities.

  17. Forgot….Twice in Isaan. Not much English. But very friendly Thais. And very self sufficient. And some expats like it there. But I should learn a little Thai before I return.

  18. Excellent Joe & Gift: really shows your great effort to show Thailand at its natural rugged self. I agree travelling with a car gives a lot more freedom, but also an intelligent Thai lady is a genuine “Gift” ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿผ

  19. Joe should be proud Gift isโ€‹ aโ€‹ fast learner. Her English isโ€‹ much improvedโ€‹ with aโ€‹widerโ€‹ range ofโ€‹ formalโ€‹ words coming out more fluently.โ€‹

  20. You’re absolutely right, there are so many hidden gems all over Thailand. To find it, you have got to have wheels. Just remember this phrase, have wheels will travel. LOL.

  21. It’s a nice area around Tak,there is a big dam near there to ,bhumibol dam, worth a visit,.that waterfall would look impressive in the rainy season, nice and calm there at the moment ,keep on trucking joe,.cheers.

  22. Thanks Joe. Nice vid. Always a pleasure to see the real side of Thailand. Was there in 73-74 at Ko Kha / Lampang and U-Tapao. Went back in 87 with my Lao wife for 3 weeks in December. Great time. She got to see relatives near Chang Rai.

  23. เบงเบฑเบ‡เบฎเบฑเบ เบงเบฑเบ‡เบ™เปเป‰เบฒเปƒเบˆ says:

    Thanks for sharing Sir! ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ™

  24. I donโ€™t know whether I heard that right? โ€œHow beautiful is that?โ€โ€” โ€œNever seen cows before?โ€โ€” โ€œI seen cows before you crazy ass, Iโ€™m from America.โ€ Please donโ€™t take any offense for this. Itโ€™s just what I heard, and it was hilarious. This is a great video clip!

  25. 8:18 LMAO You tell him Joe!!! All jokes aside you two would make a good comedy team. This reminds me of the “Road trip” movies with Martin and Lewis or Hope and Crosby.

  26. Hey Joe – Tak is indeed off the beaten path! You have visited more places in Thailand than I ever have. You are absolutely right! Thailand is full of hidden gems! I feel so inadequate being a Thai and all. Thank you for sharing your vids.ย They make me feel so homesick for Thailand!ย Happy travelling!P.S. Funny! Gift’s always hungry! Why is she so skinny?

    1. Thank you ๐Ÿ™ my friend. Iโ€™m really enjoying having the ability to travel the open road and discover and explore all that Thailand ๐Ÿ‡น๐Ÿ‡ญ has to offer. Such a beautiful country with beautiful people. This is just the beginning, come May Gift and I will hopefully begin with traveling North and working our way south and east working our way west and anything and everything in between. All the best!

  27. Joe there are “free recovery programs” that will get back deleted files … files do not get deleted right away only the title.
Enjoy your videos as well as notime2bsad … also get crazy ass to make more videos.

    1. Thank you ๐Ÿ™ my friend. Next time I will have to try one of those programs. Crazy ๐Ÿ˜œ Ass has been posting more just recently. Lol ๐Ÿ˜‚. All the best!

    1. Foreigner Joe thanks your videos take me back to Thailand last year I went 5 times the prices there are incredible I could afford anything even on a servers salary more people need to visit the land of smiles
