  1. I’m a big fan of street-food, from Los Angeles garment-district to the streets of Tijuana, Rosarito and Ensenada. I love those bacon-wrapped hotdogs, churros, gyros and tortas. None of that here in PH, but lots of good BBQ Chicken. 🙂

  2. Totally. One bad habit I have is skipping breakfast. It was already dark and that day all I’d had was a small burrito from the mall and a few beers. I was starving. Oh, and that chicken-porridge is SO good! I love that stuff.

  3. I’ll be in Mactan in a few weeks, I’m already thinking about the BBQ station, lumpia and chicken/rice porridge there in Lapu Lapu. 🙂

  4. Hello! Henry I hope you are safe and secured there in bohol. Pls stay safe or temporarily move to other place away from that city. My gov’t cannot secure their support to the foreigners bcoz of the huge damage to the lives and properties of that earthquake. Mindoro is ideal plce 4 you to stay its cheap like Bohol. Take Care!

  5. Back in the 60’s I lived in Tampa Fla. I use to love the cart food that you could get there. Deviled Crab in particular… They were like a quarter back then…

  6. I’m wondering about Henry too. He says he likes to sleep in and the earthquake hit about 8:17 AM or something like that. I imagine he is the type of guy that would be out daily helping people. I don’t know if internet connectivity is out.. or.. God forbid.. something happened to him. He’s in my prayers, as are all the others affected. Bad situation.

  7. The earthquake was a really intense experience. And I’m from California, I’ve lived with quakes all my life. This was huge. Churches that had survived over 300 years went down with this quake in at least six different locations. I’m okay, just no net access, water or power for several days. Thanks for your prayers.
