  1. Yes, it looks like some torrential rain coming. We escaped Sally here in New Orleans luckily, but the areas off to the east aren’t so lucky. They will be getting a lot of rain. Stay safe Smith family.

  2. Oh wow no the Hurricane Sally is coming up Mobile bay it supposed to hit us early morning a cat 2 the Island is closed Gulf Shores Mobile Cause Way every thing is closed .

  3. Looking at acuweather at 4. 40 am, the video replay shows pretty heavy rain starting at 2.00 am.
Hope all the precautions you have prepared , work well Brian.
We also may get some rain today from a LPA off the west coast of Luzon.

  4. Mate, if you ever get over to Leyte to Maasin, drop into Caimito Beach Resort there. Run by the nicest Irish guy you will ever meet and funnily enough his name is Pascal? Gotta be Irish–right? LOL. Out of his own pocket he builds great little mini houses for local impoverished families, and has put up at least 80 last time I heard. He also runs a free soup kitchen for the less priveleged , again, all out of his own pocket. Anyway, just a tip if you end up that way. I am hoping your previous thoughts on Bohol being well sheltered are true for this coming storm. I got caught in Lapu-Lapu City on Mactan Island once in a storm. Scared the bejaysus outta me I never knew raindrops could be so big, and so darned –hard, as when they hit you they actually hurt, like a paintball being fired at you. It took only a few minutes to flood about 2 feet deep ! Wind like–well a typhoon ! Batten down and all the best.

  5. I don’t know if you’re getting your rain there yet but here in northwest Florida we’re getting hammered from hurricane Sally. 20″ to 30″ in total expected. Hope all goes well for the farm.
