    1. ATV’s are about the only real vehicle for getting up there aside from a motocross-type motorcycle.  I was a bit leery of leaving it behind but other than maybe a very small barangay of locals, the place is pretty quiet.  (Scooter was there when we got back.)  You can get an ATV ride to the shrine from the swim-park below for a few hundred pesos.

  1. Hi Henry, when you are walking and talking as you film your videos, do you hold your little DigiCam directly in your hand, or attach it to something?

  2. I really love your channel.
As it looks now, chances are that we may follow some of your footsteps next year.
Lets see what life is planning for our future…
Again, thx a lot for all the information you are putting up here, its really valuable for us.

  3. Looked like a great workout.  🙂  My wife is following you now that she knows you have a GF.  LOL  She’s a Filipina. what can I say?  LOL

  4. I don’t know the quality of your cam, Brother Henry, but the colors were very vivid in this adventure.

That’s exactly what I need more of: hiking in the heat and humidity, sweating like a stuffed pig, lots of fruits and veggies. And, of course, NO rice! I feel 25 years younger when I’m there.

  5. Nicely done. You know the call Valencia little bagio don’t you. Because of the climate. I miss the good people of negros. You have a lot more to explore there. There’s a great beach resort on the other end of Dumaguete that has this room built on top of a rock on the ocean. That resort is super nice. You,all see. Its a bit off the path also. Can’t remember the name Alian or some such.

  6. I agree with your viewer George Brett –I think it would be a great
idea to get some serious people together Henry, and maybe start
some kind of expat community, or maybe a business. I think there’s
a lot of people in the west-retired or just bored with life over here that
would love some excitement in their life, and lot’s of nice young Filipina’s
    as well–I know I would. ( Grant -in-Canada)
