  1. Henry, I loved the slideshow but where did you get the music??  Reason I ask is it sounds a lot like a Contemporary Hawaiian song, only difference this music is instrumental.

    1. @LifeBeyondTheSea – Philippines Thank You for responding.  I really like your videos, especially the insightful looks into Philippines society.

    1. @Ed Navarro Norcal diver thanks, man.  these photos i shot with my fujipix digital camera.  not sure what model, but i’ve had it for about 7 years.  allows me to control aperture as well as speed so it gives me some control, more than a point-n-shoot.  originally i started with a canon ae-1, back when we still used celluloid.  🙂

  2. Henry, If I didn’t know any better, I’d say that these photographs were taken by a professional photographer who just went wild in Dumagete.  They are absolutely gorgeous.  Thanks for making my day.  Please don’t forget, that if things go right, and the time is right, and you decide to ask Lyn to marry you, then please do your magic on film, as I am also a “you tube” fan of wedding proposals.

  3. you must be in Dumaguete.. that sign has just been newly updated.. and happy birthday.. you mentioned in one of your videos that you were born in February..

  4. My heart is in pain because I am away from my hometown Dumaguete but because of these videos and pictures you have shared a happiness just grows up inside. Thanks Ricky, just like still being at home while watching your stuff.:)

    1. @LifeBeyondTheSea – Philippines p.s. some of the city’s ‘grey water’ drains right into that area so, not sure i’d want to eat fish from there myself.

    2. @les f no, i’m not into fishing myself. i do see little boats out there but they seem to be after crabs. when the tide is low, people go out there to get clams and small crabs.
