  1. Thanks. I try to cover not just the gritty side of PH, but the many good sides as well. There are many good people here with solid Catholic values who will help a stranger. Just have to use some discretion is all.

  2. I have another short video going online later tonight. I try to cover stuff as it’s happening or fresh on my mind. 🙂

  3. Henry was right so as other foreigners, that we are very hospitable people You see? No wonder why trolls bashing their own country that’s why we are not progressing.

  4. Juarez, if you really knew, has one of the highest murder rates in Southern America apart from maybe Columbia. The only dangerous portion to speak of in the Philippines is in southern Mindanao. The rest of the Philippines is as safe if not safer than most American cities. You can hardly call the Philippines the “Juarez of Asia”.. not even close.

  5. Yah, just this week I’ve gotten a ride three times from people on motorcycles, neighbors from the village who only knew me by sight. In the US, I could walk for days and never get picked up by a neighbor. ha!

  6. I love it here in the Philippines. Meanwhile, some people are never happy no matter where they live, they pack their unhappiness and take it with them everywhere they go.

  7. I see very few horses. The only ones I’ve seen are for the horse-drawn carriages at some of the tourist spots. But maybe on other islands horses are a big thing. Perhaps a viewer here knows of some equestrian orient islands. (?) Spaniards were into horses so I’m guess somewhere in PH it’s a daily thing.

  8. It’s simple acts of hospitality there that keep me wanting to go back. Sure, you have people that will tell you all about the terrorism or muslim rebels rising up, or all the girls that are just using you for your money. I’ve spent almost a year total there now through my 8 trips and I haven’t ever had any problems. I’ve been from Manila to Cotabato. Only friendly people who wanted the best for me is all I met. A few people just wanted to practice their english with me. I can’t wait to go back!

  9. Cool Free ride…!  pilipinos are the nicest ever no string attatch even.. You should give them tips even when it’s free,…sometimes  It’s a good way to make friends and to establish a good  long lasting relationships with those generous locals in the community too..Henry!
