  1. I was showing my wife your food vid and she misses it so much . Can’t get it hear in NC . I also can’t wait to try all these goodies . So nice I watched it twice lol

  2. Manamit! I take it you don’t eat fish or seafood.. Pity.. Bangus is my all time favorite fish. Enjoy! Can’t wait to enjoy the local Illongo recipes again.

  3. henry, people over here say that mex food cant be done overseas becuz it is too exp. I am not sure i believe that. back where you spent most of your life, there’s a small mex rest. fifteen stools n a counter. great food and a line at lunch and dinner, plus many for takeout. your mom had a rest; the ingredients in mex food are readily available and mex food imitable even if not great. home last year and dinner seven bucks n good. poss to do a decent small mex hole in the wall rest overseas?

  4. I don’t see why Mexican food would be considered expensive for ingredients. Getting hold of beans, chilies, cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, spices, pork, beef, chicken, flour (for tortillas).. pretty much all the ingredients can be found here. It just seems that there aren’t many places here doing Mexican food. Maybe on another island they are, hoping to find something good soon. I haven’t had a tamale in forever it seems. ha!
