  1. They are Poor by western standards BUT realize that every one lives the same so no one is poor. Life is normal. They have tight family relationships the West has lost and Longs for.

  2. Nice to know that because of your blog those two people know each other and actually met in person.. Tim the guy from Poland know how to speak few Tagalog so you have to study Tagalog language

  3. I agree Tim that is scary to build a house and not own the land? What if you cannot pay rent ? 🤔 You have to move out then the owner of the land can rent out your house for P2000 a month. It is more fun in Philippines lol

  4. I see that is where all the beautiful ladies in the Philippines are hiding

Never seen so many beautiful girls in the Philippines

Now I know they are hiding in Leyte

  5. Ourdogseven
Filipinos are friendly the first time. Reason you want the Philippines. Amd we aren’t an axe murderers.

Axe murderers came form North America. Plenty of psyche people there reason you people are very reserved to strangers. And very suspicious of people who are hospitable the first time.

  6. I’ll subscribe to Homer as a Filipino for having the guts to learn and speak our dialect.
Any of you North Americans, you should do the same?

  7. Surprised at the comments, seems normal to me, considering hes from a different culture, speaking a different language . Everyone doesn’t sound and act like Americans. Philapinos dont seem to mind him.

  8. Everybody’s so perfect that they can criticize homer? He probably pays the rent there and has for as long as he’s known his girlfriend, not to mention hes on camera with thousands of viewers,

  9. Hello I’m a new subscriber I watch your videos all the time sometimes I stay up to 6 in the morning watching your videos😂 I’m 28 years old I’m about to go to college for computers I was wondering you have any advice I want to move to the Philippines but still be able to work what can I do? Be free to send me an email any advice you can give me will be greatly appreciated your friend Jesus😀

  10. Well Tim; The san mig strong ice w/blue label is one of the best beers I’ve tasted. Comment on ur vid??? We only had only one polish guy in our family line. Way back in the 1800s, They hung him by a tree for a horse thief. Ended his family tree. Haven’t been back to the Philippines since 2009. My philipina wife of 12 years is very, very homesick.

  11. Polish guy needs to tone down his humor. It’s annoying when nothing he says is remotely funny. Perhaps his grandma is amused by his antics, but everyone else is like WTF.

  12. Hey Tim, ya might wanna try san mig strong ice with the blue lable. I can’t find it here in California. Another reason I can’t wait to start going back to the Philippines.

  13. Kinda falling for Phillipines.. The people, the nature, the living costs etc. But one question for you Tim or those who possibly could answer. Because of my health and allergies etc, I need to have a high beef/deer/sheep etc meat diet.
Can eat some pork, just not too much. Some fish is ok, but mostly red meats is needed to keep my body healthy and balanced.

So my question is this.. Is red meats very much more expensive ( I think it is ? ) than others and how hard is it to get it there ? Both in shops and eating out.. Appreciate the answers I can get.

  14. Everyone is commenting that he’s weird but I just see a regular polish dude who’s been drinking, lmao. Polish people tend to have a bit of a pushy and annoying attitude.

  15. Hi Tim, It was great sharing a bucket of red horse with you at that Manila bar day before Veterans day. Aloha my fellow Vet! Joe from Makakilo, Hi. (I have a pic of you and your O-6 buddy from Maine.)

  16. Not sure bout that dude, I’m married to a filipino for 22yrs and say I have never met a foreigner as strange as him, Take it from me the elevator don’t go to the top floor with him. Save your friend Chrissy.

  17. I’m struggling with this & trying to figure it out. PI style. Ppl moving from 1st World & moving in to the past. I’m missing out on something here. This must be a way to move backwards in time. Hmmmm. If I go to PI I want to use my money to live in a nicer house than I live in in the US & do things only rich can do in US; except to Blow my $ on eating out & Restaurants. Thx 4 the warning. 🙂

  18. Let’s give a chance to Homer. He could act like this because of he’s not very secure in front of the camera knowing that it’s gonna be on YouTube. I’m usually avoiding Polish people as they tends to be cocky as soon as they’ll get their chance. But I’d like to see him again and see what kind of guy he really is. Homer has to deal with a lot of new things at the moment and this first impression could be completely wrong and he could be actually decent folk, maybe one of your future favorite youtubers 😉 . Plus his girlfriend looks more than capable to shape her man 🙂
    GIVE HIM HIS CHANCE

  19. WOW Chrissy is getting big! She is very beautiful 🙂 You two are going to be the best parents! I wish you all the best <3 // Love from Sweden

  20. come on folks homer is just a gool old fashion eastern european in lala land. we Americans are quick to judge. loool he os funny guy especialy when he almost high 5 the pig lol.

  21. tims secretly saying in his head wtf crissy we need to get the hell out of here haha.. that guy is weird. be careful lol. abit off but seems nice.

  22. Not to be mean but is he high or just really over excited 😂or too much San Miguel!?????😂😂😂😂can’t wait till he has his own vlogs😂👍✌

  23. Polish guys like to drink beer & vodka anytime.
This guy had the daily dose at morning surely.
Anyway not amuzed about that kind of clips. I’ve enjoyed the last clip in the hills and the shool kids. Keep your independent attitude on.

  24. Filipinos in the countrysides/provinces enjoyed their innocence… they are friendly and got hospitable attitude, total freedom living with nature… its not about how on earth they were able to survive that way coz obviously they made it… but its how on earth some people are less appreciative of the things they’ve all got? i mean look at this people, they have less yet they are happy and innocent, far from any corruption of the outside & commercial world…

  25. when you’re out of cooking salt, rice to cook etc..just knock on to your nieghbors door and even boko/young coconut as long as you know how to thank them..

  26. Congrats to you two! 🙂 BTW-does Harald know the good news?…he mentioned your name his entire Peru trip, well the trekking shoes anyway. lol

  27. I think he’s fine….
He is experiencing a new kind of life so it’s kinda overwhelming, Filipinos are very welcoming and hospitable and he’s being like that as well so he’s adopting fast.

Of course the gf doesn’t speak much so he’s leading it! Nothing wrong with that…. people are so judgemental, let people live. 🙄🙄

By the way @Tim K if a Filipino were born in Manila it’s called Manileña and if from the province its Pobinsiyana. You’re welcome!

  28. Someone doesn’t get the Filipino accent down and the passive mannerism just by visiting for 3 days… Homer seems like he’s live in Philippines since childhood

  29. The polish guy is weird. The way he show the house is like guiding in a zoo. It´s good to show confidence, but he seems to feel superior to his girlfriends family and neighborhood. I don´t like this attitude.

  30. I’m a polish guy as well and my fiance is from Manila. We have our interview for K1 Visa first week of January.
I see nothing wrong with Homer, he’s just excited to be there and maybe had too many beers that day, that’s all.
All these negative comments about him are nasty & evil, you people should leave those negative comments to yourself and not post them here.

  31. People please could you all leave Homer alone he is from Poland remember that their culture is different n language nothing is wrong with him stop now critics

  32. Villagers must be wondering, are all foreigners loud? Always calling for their girls at the top of their voices? We can hear them from 10 houses away? My number one rule for voices and music in your cars when you are out having fun, turn it down when you roll close to home. Be considerate of your neighbors wherever you live.

  33. The overwhelming number of comments. Poor Homer. I hope he doesn’t see this but he will. He’s probably been picked on all his life but still keeps a chipper attitude. Maybe he has found a place in the world where he can be happy for the rest of his life? The one thing is he doesn’t look like the kind of guy who can afford to retire and live there for the rest of his life (it would be a problem for all of us). Where would he work? Does he intend to go home to where ever he is from? Does he want to take his woman back to where he lives or works, away from her family, culture, village, and friends? Would she make it? What’s the story? Plus if he did stay long term to stay with her and try to adapt to life in her lifelong home environment, what about the two year travelers itch? Would he get the itch to leave? Will they break up? When it comes to relationships, for both it’s important to spend a year or two with someone to really get to know them before making commitments, so wear a condom class II medical device.

  34. Homer is in love with the Philippines. Visited many times I’m sure and no different than many like us. He has certainly embraced the culture.

  35. Hey Tim. I’m leaving (the US) for Cebu tomorrow and will be in the Philippines for a month. Would love to come visit while I’m there if ur up for that. Let me know here. I’m not sure how to contact you otherwise.

  36. Tim, your weight loss is starting to show in your face. Thank you for your videos, they are very informative and show the beautiful people and how they thrive. That compound is a true paradise to someone who has been stuck on the materialistic treadmill in USA.

I disagree with the comments about Homer. Yes, he’s a bit quirky, but he is trying very hard to immerse himself into their culture. He has been welcomed to the family in true Filipino fashion. His woman has claimed him, and he has gained status as a mature-bread-winning-male member of the family, and it would be rude of him to act shy. Keep Living The Dream bro

  37. Your friend seems pretty cool good to have someone that speaks English and do things with from time to time! Congrats on the baby! Always enjoy watching your videos brother!

  38. I agree with everyone here that he’s weird and too comfortable…
but I think he is genuinely happy and elated about the gifts of the Philippines, he’s just a nerd I think hahaha

  39. Tim, lol very unique exposure of Homers adaptation to the province. Though many of us would find him annoying. we all need to fully understand a few simple things. He is from a different place and a different culture, and obviously the people in the province are as well. What we see as annoying, strange or arrogant, simply may be a byproduct of his environment. The Filipinos themselves may be very limited in their exposure to young white foreigners and have no idea what he is saying or the meaning of his actions. Filipinos are generally the most polite and respectful people I have ever encountered, and since they don’t understand him or the meaning of his actions they may assume that where he comes from he is being as polite and respectful as they are, That being said, I could never be his neighbor, day in and day out. The issue of land ownership is not as simple as most think in the Philippines. Its a topic we have researched in depth as we are looking for land in both the Province and Pampanga. We are gathering notes, documents and examples of the rights and process and are actually preparing a vlog for it in the future. Take care, Chrissy looks great and heathy and you both look so happy…..good luck in your up coming birth. Mike and Arlyn.

  40. Always remember that this is a third world country. People live the way they live to survive never disrespect survivors they don’t need anyone to speak down on them if you’re going to live there and married them have kids with them you got to start respecting the people you choose to live with no complaints.

  41. I have a feeling you have to take homer with a pinch of salt, otherwise you’d have to knock him out if you spend too long with him 😂😂😂

  42. Did Homer have one too many Duffs before you arrive Tim? Now I know what a person with a Polish accent sounds like when they try to imitate a Filipino accent.

  43. hes a talker, thats ok. Yep the province are very communal, as far as i know Foreigners cant own land in the Philippines but can get upto a 99 year lease, perhaps if you registered a company in the Philippines maybe the company can buy land. Love the Country, the people and the culture..oh yeah love the vlogs as always

  44. It’s very common that Filipinos rent the land and build a house on the property. True if the owner wants to sell the land you’ll loose your home but I know first hand of a family that rented land for 30 years for 100 pesos per month, and of course built a home 🏠.
You should also be aware that these places are also very overpopulated, noisy, bad sanitation and very similar to camping for long term. It’s not an easy life yet somehow people find a way to adapt and be happy. You can also understand that some will do whatever it takes to find a way to attain a better habitat.

  45. I like the little village. Look out for the Chinese when it come to development there. Was that Durien he gave you. Free range child rearing – looks like my kids playing (and they don’t let their kids roam free like they did).

  46. Don’t know what’s up with all these comments but homer seems like a cool guy..much more so than many of the degenerate expats I’ve met there over the years!

  47. I have the best dating group for Foreigners looking for Filipinas. All of the women you see are real and have been hand picked by my wife. No fake profiles,No scammers and No spam. It only cost a entry fee of 25 dollars to join. You can pay via PayPal or Cashapp. These women are looking for true love and that’s all they want. If interested plz DM me. This is not a scam and I am available for conversation at all times and can answer any questions or concerns you have as well as any issues you have when you are in the group. I know it’s hard to find a true Filipina and I want to help you do so.

  48. Homer is a lil geeky but friendly. Some people seem to think he has a secret hes hiding but really we dont know. We shouldnt judge . Hopefully Tim we can get to a later visit say in a month or more for an update lol

  49. Everytime I see one of your videos I cannot help but think of the Grand Theft Auto Vice City radio commercial for exploder, ” Tim! Dun weave me! You Taught me baseball team and how to love! “

  50. Give that guy a camera and he’ll be another version of Harald… I don’t see anything wrong with him actually he’s just a bit too excited😊

  51. Regardless what anybody thinks, this place (in the province) would be just great for me. Oh yes, I could afford to have a decent lifestyle in the Philipines,… but, I would prefer to live like I see in this video. Thanks.

  52. Hey Tim you all was to great videos if my old brain is working right did you say you would be moving ??? If so if there is not anyone else I would love to rent your place long term could you keep me in mind as I will be moving to Philippines December 11 of this yr and I hope to fine good Philippino lady thanks man keep up the good work

  53. I think he’s trying to hard and probably been a bit socially awkward for most of his life. He definitely sees you as the alpha and is trying to impress you. I think what rubs people wrong is that he seems to act dismissive around others he doesn’t see as equal. My guess is he’s quite self conscious and he’s just trying to fit in but doing it in a off putting way.

  54. Homer is a fun, friendly dude. He’s comfortable with the people he lives or staying with. And it seems they are fond of him too. I don’t find him weird.

  55. Why is everyone bashing him. He’s just a happy guy. Those roosters would drive me nuts!!! LOL. The ocean is beautiful, but too many rocks hard to walk on I would definitely fall. lol. Timmy & Tin Tin you both scared me crossing that dangerous little bridge. 😆

  56. Homer has a Filipino accent and he knows a lot of tagalog words that naturally flows without thinking. Im guessing born in Poland but spent a lot of time in PI

  57. I think the guy has been drinking lol. He’s a little bit too comfortable for his own good 😂 wouldn’t be able to be around that guy for more than 30 mins.

  58. Looks like this dude took over the channel 😛 Little too much.. Just home from Cebu, freezing in Norway now. Enjoy the PH Tim & Crissy, and congrats..

  59. Am I the only one found this guy weird? 😁✌✌
Or he is just so comfortable being around with the young filipina for the past three days…

Dae good luck ug akoa lang friendly
advice ayaw kaayo ug salig Kay naka anhi Nana sya sa pilipinas ka daghan..

  60. I cherish when I was a kid being able to just walk outside and have fun with the neighborhood kids…those were the days 🙂 I think I was one of the last to experience it. I can remember it disappearing during it though….anthrax scares in the mail and in the ice cream from the ice cream truck (9/11 aftermath), white van kidnappers, blah blah still wouldn’t trade those times !!! Being free to play after dark was exhilarating! My childhood was rough but those times I was just one of the kids. wish all youth got to escape and be a kid in that way! When neighbors would just invite you for dinner or take you to school if your parents weren’t…they gave you an example of regular families and made you feel welcome not called CPS or didn’t let their kids play with you!!! But today is more accepting/progressive?! 🤷🏼‍♀️ Always appreciate your insight and reflections.

  61. Tim. thanks for posting your videos man. I travelled to the Philippines for the very first time last weekend to Manila. I truly enjoyed my experience there and it was because of your videos that inspired me to visit there. I will visit again in December since I live in japan. Keep living the dream and posting these great videos. True Fan!! I wish you and you family the best!!

  62. I get that this is YouTube and nobody gives anybody the benefit of the doubt, but people are very quick to pass judgement on Homer. He’s freshly arrived in a foreign country and English is not even his first language. Can we cut him some slack and give him a chance?

  63. Honestly, seems like a nice guy but one of those friends that you can only handle for short visits. Even a weekend camping trip with this cat would send me over the edge, cheers Tim. Chrissy, you and me are twins now but my belly won’t be gone in a few months :-(. Hannah…..nuf said, only a couple vids without you and I miss you already 🙂

  64. Such horrible comments. I thought Tim K was vetting these? Homer has mild aspergers like Greta Thunberg. Often misunderstood, but heart in the right place. And typically a genius. I’m an aspie too so can spot it a mile off! Not weirdos, but brain wired differently – like being left handed. The opposite sex normally get very confused until they know! There are pros and cons to being wired normal or being wired aspie. I hope the girl doesn’t break his heart as us aspies bruise easily, but most girls want somebody that fits within the middle of a bell curve of typical personality trends. Stick a camera in an aspies faces and we tend to act more weird than ever!! Once you’re out of childhood we can get through social situations by becoming characters. So Homer stuck a hat on and now he’s a farmer! And he pretends the house was built for him. It’s just fun because we have wonderful imaginations and we get carried away. Me? I pretend I’m an accomplished writer. Online nobody knows we are aspies. Thus I bet Homer’s girl had very different expectations to what turned up. The greatest problem aspie’s have is being labelled as one personality type but it’s much more complex than “being a Greta” or “being a Homer”. Admit it, most of the people writing bad comments on these “westerners with asian girls” vlogs tend to be single lonely older men who reckon they’re hotter and more macho than they really are, lusting after the young/hot third world girls because they have screwed up their own lives with bad choices years ago. Homer is probably a safer bet for this girl than most, if he can chill, relax and calm down a bit! The Philippines might be just the place for him as everybody is so easy going. Well, who knows. Provided Homer is on a good wage at Springfield Nuclear Plant he can look after himself and those around him. Remember… Homer Simpson was a clutz but he loved his family.

  65. Gosssh! This is so painful to watch – the Polish guy! It is so cringy I am so embarrass for him. I do not want to judge, he might be a good person and is just trying to be funny and entertaining but it’s over the top that he is not making sense. It’s rude of him showing the inside of the 2 houses when he is just a guest. Maybe Tim you should have just told him it’s fine let’s just stay here outside. I speculate that he was born in Poland as what he claimed but spent considerable amount of time growing up in the Philippines. His accent when he speaks English is Filipino and he know a lot of Filipino words that mean another thing like 2 eggs “itlog” as testicles. This girl should know this Polish guy fully well before jumping into a relationship.

  66. The only thing i can get that is a bit off with this guy is he is not humble enough for someone who has only been around for a few days

  67. Why is everyone using gas bottles for cooking instead of for example induction for cooking? And put some solar panels on the roof, the weather is very good for that, better than in many other places.

  68. I like him! He funny! He doesn’t want to be on camera, but want the girls to introduce themselves. 😄 Haha 😂 I like the way he says Timmy!

  69. Tim Homer seemed a bit nervous at times, then a full blowing conversation at the home, amazing 👀 he one of you’re subscribers, I see what you’re where saying about a westerner coming in and buying al’ the land up how would people cope in that situation, do you have night clubs, or bars near to you Tim, or is a quiet resort in the phillopenes, 👍👌👍

  70. I don’t know but this guy is very suspicious sorry I don’t want to offend any one but is so weird !!!! I love your videos and Cristi is an Angel you are very simple and loving Cuple please keep being honest like you always are !!!! ❤️🙏

  71. Every single human in this video, except Tim, has a startled look when camera gets on them. Even Chrissy (spelling?) has the typical startled look for 1.5 seconds upon any questions asked on camera.

  72. Tim, you need to learn from Homer how to introduce people that you meet when you are making a video. He is a burst of energy for your channel, and explains things he sees and is showing to us as he goes. With your straightforward honesty and his charisma, your channel will benefit and you can catch up with Bald & Baldr… 😉👍

  73. Happy birthday Tim; the term used if born in Manila is Manileña; jackfruit. water? tim should have ask water to drink in the house where there was a ref !

  74. After reading all those comments about Homer I can’t believe nobody mentioned anything about those 3 cuties at 3:45. It’s like the whole village is full of beautiful women. The only thing about those Ph women is I can’t never tell if they are 15 or 30 years old. Maybe that’s why nobody said anything, maybe they are young school age.

  75. My first impression of that guy is something not right. He is too much i think.annyways,im always interested of Tim and Chrissy’s love story😍Chrissy is cute & beautiful😍Me & my swedish bf are always waiting your new video
Tim.Hope everyday you can upload video❤️So funny when Harald is making fun of your hiking shoes🤣

  76. I live in Canada and from his accent, he is from Quebec. He was born in Poland but I am sure about the accent. He may not be a weirdo, just a little arrogant like must Quebec people are. Hey but he could be cuckoo for cocoa puffs for all I know.🤪

  77. They may be financially poor, but beyond rich in other ways. Homer seemed happy showing u off,   his place and village were nice, but honestly if I had to listen to those roosters etc all day grrrrrrrrrrr   make me crazy  !

  78. Hey Chrissy is cute pregnant and Tim still handsome..so very happy for you both. Take advantage of what u can while there Tim..guess what u ain’t missing shit here in the states. Maybe in and out burger . Or a good mom and pop shop diner have a beautiful day 🌞😎🌞❣️

  79. Poor Tim. By the end of the video he looks and sounds fed up, but I don’t blame him. That was full on especially meeting someone for the first time.

  80. I don’t think I can live in such a small place with the Cement Walls like that. I’d need to at least get some paintings. But that’s just me. It would take some getting used to for sure. But I guess your not in the house that much.

  81. Hate to say I agree with comments homer pile scary dude. Way to controlling for 3 day visit. Would not trust him. Btw Harald fried your 🥾 🥾😂

  82. at the end you said this is simple filipino lifestyle but never will you find a happier group of people then in the province not like the city this is where i want to be when i retire

  83. wow lots of hate for this guy but he seems pretty cool just a bit socially awkward, probably on the spectrum too but what can he do about it? hes embracing the culture, being respectful and friendly and hes surrounded by people that will fuck up his day if he did anything dodgy anyway.

  84. The Homer might seem a little off but polish people that I know always seem a little weird! Think it’s something to do with there communist past ! Good or bad only time will tell !

  85. Why are all you guys so rude. Homer looks like a very friendly guy to me. Quite easy to judge someone behind your computer… Spread some love guys. Don’t you guys have any feelings? Maybe you guys should support someone instead of being such a bad person.

  86. Homer just seems to be trying a little too hard, or too exicted….
He has immersed himself in the culture and also learned some of the language but has been to the Philippines a few times….
Some words are the same in bisaya and tagalog. Tim, when you first met that guy who later turned out to be Sheena ‘s father (jeepney driver) you shook his hand. The bisaya people show respect moreso than people around Manila, taking their right hand to your forehead is a show of respect to an elder, called “Mano po” It wouldn’t hurt to learn local politeness and customs Tim since you will become more permanent there.

  87. Christin is looking like I KNOW MORE BOT MY FRIEND THAN YOU DUDE 😆.TIM U WOULD THINK ITS YOUR 3RD DAY THERE INSTEAD OF HIS HE TRYING TO TEACH YOU WHAT YOU MOST LIKELY KNOW .😂 NICE VIDEO THANK YOU TIM FOR SHARING

  88. I don’t want to be mean, but that dude just seems a little bit strange. I found it odd that he was so paranoid about people finding out his identity… why? Is he hiding something? Can’t help but be suspicious.

  89. Tim k should meet up.with mr bull the Korean youtuber that married a pinay dose vids on Philippines food and drinks and visited Philippines 3 weeks ago he did . Think would great viewing too

  90. I commented on your prior video that my first wife is Polish and her parents had visited their parents farm near Krakow. In the late 80s/early 90s their old farm still had a thatched roof and a hand-dug well. I was looking at Homer’s place and remember your place in other videos, and they are both actually nicer than the pics I saw from Poland maybe 40 years ago. Looks like a nice area and nice people. BTW, that is also what I experienced with my wife’s family in Davao.

  91. Man this homer dude is weird as. I get trying to embrace the Filipino culture and all, but the accent shit is weird. You said hes been there for 3 days? He acts like hes been there for years.

  92. I reckon harold has pair of tim k trekking mules he wears off camera it’s his secret lol tim k do you use Deet anti mois spray the bites are so itchy

  93. Amazing village and lush tropical forest. People do not paint or cover the house walls inside or outside their homes as westerners do i see.. No Home Depot lol Interesting place, Thanks Tim

  94. Can’t handle the fake Filipino accent. I can picture this clown with a Go Fund Me account to get back home in a couple months or less. I don’t hang out with expats in the Philippines, they tend to wreck your reputation. “you are who you hang with”.

  95. You right tim k in Vietnam in the north was area that was all rural lots rice paddy fields few years back the government sold off to property developers now its luxury houses and complexes for the rich and generals and party members upper rulers . They even drained the lake moved all the people in weeks . But think Philippines is more western

  96. According to me, Homer is not so weird..he might be a little immature, but he seems friendly. Who hasn’t had a friend like him? He is funny and I think he needs to be considered

  97. Good to see you cranking out the vlogs Tim. You look good, the “no red horse November” seems to agree with you. Looking forward to the coming months, I hope sleep isn’t that much of a priority for you.
    All the best.

  98. I have a request Tim, Could you in a future video tell us a bit about how healthcare services, like doctors, dentists and hospitals are in that area, and what something like normal doctor consultation costs. I mean, some people seeking out in the world for new pastures, might worry if they will end up dead or broke by catching the flu or something. Also some seek warmer climate especially due to health, like astma or other such thing.

  99. After 8 years living in Asia, this guy in the green shirt doesnt surprise me at all. Literally 90% of the older westerners that live/travel here are weird like that.

  100. From the comments, it would appear that the Subscribers don’t trust and like Homer. I would say that he is pushy and his jokes are inconsiderate.

    I don’t foresee another visit from Tim…

  101. thank god i’m not the only person that thinks that dude is strange…. definitely something wrong with him, he acts like a little kid… i bet in a couple of weeks they’re gonna throw him out 🙂

  102. I dont know what people are complaining about. Stop complaining just because others are. He’s just a happy and a very interactive person. Nothing wrong with that. Although I could tell tim is annoyed by him lol.

  103. Homer seems like he’s lived in the PI for awhile. He has the accent. Kind of like when I lived in Hawaii I picked up the Hawaiian “pigeon” accent. I would not dismiss him as weird, I think he is truly a happy-go-lucky guy, like most Pinoys are. Also yes he has “outkicked his coverage”, a dating term (look it up). So that would explain his zest for life 😆

  104. locals would find him easy going, funny and friendly, westerners would find him suspicious, untrustworthy and coco. this is why filipinos are friendliest people in the world.

  105. When communicating with Homer, Tim you are showing an excellent character trait of being a good sport. This shows you are a good guy and you will make a wonderful father, as you are wonderful as well to Chrissy.

  106. I have a polish friend in Canada and he’s exactly like him! LOL. I like Homer he’s a pretty funny guy, seem harmless, he should start his own channel. I wonder hong long he has been around the Philippines because thats definitely a Filipino accent not a Polish one and he seem to know a lot of Filipino terminology and jokes.

  107. My take on Homer is that, yes, he’s a little loopy but that aside don’t underestimate him, he’s definitely clever. He seems to have his own way of dealing with things in life and that’s ok. He’s funny as well. Hope it works out for him in a positive way.

  108. Thanks for the video! My Filipina just got her K1 Visa and this is her second day here in the US in Washington State. Plan to move to the Philippines with her and would love to meet up with you sometime! 🙂

  109. Tim, were you ever in LE, notice the serious look on your face, also keeping a distance from this guy, notwithstanding that you are filming. He’s talking a lot today, mostly dribble. Seems like he’s reading you. Would not be surprised this is a temporary stop for him. Over the top personality with the locals, after only 3 days.

  110. Sorry Tim but I agree with other posts. He has been there only 3 days and he is showing you everything like it’s his place. Your such a good sport. Run Tim run. Hehehe.

  111. Im coming to Leyte(gonna travel around the island) in mid/late desember, I would like to buy u and Chrissy dinner if u guys are interested in meeting, we could also go for some red horse if she lets u 😉 Anyway, I liked the video very much, godbless u all =)

  112. Damn I didn’t know Homer Simpson was a real guy.. dude acting like he owns the village for sure. Probably escaping from Marge and Bart..I dont like making fun of people or anything but he’s a bit odd. I’m thinking he’s feeling really confident in the philipines compare to how he feels in Poland.

  113. i’m happy that u found ur friend afterall tim, i said it back then, everything will come good so that u dont have to feel lonely, and yet it happend so fast, godbless to u all, lagi ingats…sana

  114. Crissy…please tell your sisters friend crissy I said Hello and I’m her biggest fan…she should hit me up on facebook Nathan Vigil from Colorado USA

  115. This reminds me of a sad time in the future when you wish you could go back in time and not meet Homer. I wonder why in the first video he was so paranoid of having his identity exposed??? I hope I’m wrong but I think sad times are coming.

  116. I don’t think I would be around Homer for more than 5 minutes with out asking him to shut up!!!! There something going on with that guy please keep an eye on him Tim.

  117. homer, ‘ home boy you talk too much you never shut up ! ‘ there 3 days , and he is explaining everything ? sshhhhh – good to see you posting more tim k . thanks for the tour – JDS/CT 12 50 pm

  118. Tim,have you seen what Harald has done with his(black) trekking shoes? Wahahahaha! He put them next to the fireplace(to dry them out i suspect) before going to sleep and when he woke up,they were orange…. Hahahahaha! And then he says: Damn you,Tim K,with your trekking shoes!. In a funny way. Lmao. Good video as always, brother. Keep then coming.

  119. Hello, chrissy and you will soon be proud parents.
Manila girl is appropriate, my wife was born and reared in Manila and she referred to herself as one. My father upon meeting her jokingly referred to her as the thriller from Manila.

  120. the polish guy seem too comfortable in the house of his girlfriends auntie. Homer should show a modesty a bit, the fact that they provide abode coz he’s new there doesnt mean he can just brag it and step on their privacy.

  121. Homer is your possible man friend since you said a while back you need man friends. You need to open up to your surrounding Tim. Homer is an example

  122. Homer seems cool but just don’t touch his ears, reminds me of Warren in the movie There’s something about Mary, a snapper lol I’m just fking around Homer.

  123. Goodthing to Homer is he know how to speak in tagalog😄..looking forward timmy to your nxt vlog that you can speak tagalog twister like “minikaniko ni moniko ang makina ni monika”😁😄 thanks for sharing much love and godbless😊
