  1. That’s good to know. I love Pina Coladas but rarely find a good one here. Seems they keep reaching for the cheap Rum. 🙁 I don’t want to go to a resort for a decent PC, so lately I’ve been just having either a SMLite or the occasional Red Horse. I’m not much of a drinker though, maybe twice a month if that. But when I go dancing I drink fast and go dance to burn it off. ha! Thanks for the head’s-up.

  2. I really like the idea of the “Ice Bags”.. those plastic tubes they sell in the grocery store for making home-made ice. Much easier than an ice-tray. At first I wondered, “How come we don’t have this in the States?”. And then I figured the tree-huggers killed the idea over the use of more plastic. But here I get the 3″x16″ bags and it makes the perfect amount of ice for a blender of whatever. I just smack the frozen bag with a heavy spoon and pour the broken ice right out. 🙂

  3. Dont those water ‘shops’ have a water delivery service? You can order 3 or 4 5 gallon tanks and get them delivered once every 3 days..I worked out that I drink about 5 litres of water a day…

  4. I was getting water delivery at my other place, I think I’ll start doing that again. I was buying my water from my neighbor, before I had a scooter. But now I think I’ll have it delivered again.

  5. I was okay when I was there, but as soon as I came home I was very very sick. Had to take a nasty drug to get better. Stomach problems galore.

  6. Bottled water was non-existent then so everybody drank tap water.  I guess most were immune. Nowadays, when I visit the Phils, I only drink bottled water.  I also only drink filtered water in the States.
