  1. It is amazing that you could get the work crew together in what appears to be late at night, unless they had not gone home yet. Good job Brian. William does have a way with his ideas.

  2. Just to ask, are they actually eating the chooks or just chasing and killing them for the fun if it?
Back in darkest Africa, many of my friends had many dogs ( mostly very large ones, including some with great Danes,Rotties , Dobermans ect!!) , especially the ones with farms, often had pesky leopards stealing calves etc! .
Only let out at night, locked up during the day.
Back in town, most people had suspended a long wire cable running up the lot ( many with one or two acre lot, even in town!) .
Used a steel ring on the wire , which had another long wire attached to it one end and the other end ( about 20 feet long), to a clip, which clipped onto the dogs collar. This allowed the dog the ability to walk/ run along a long fairly wide area.
    Good deterrent against intruders!
Saying that, my buddy( originally from Texas!), had a very nice 5 acre, ( very long ) lot, only had a Doberman and a Jack. Russel Terrier .
Ah , you may say, not much of a deterrent a Jack Russel!!??
He was the one to wake up the Doberman, who seemed to prefer to sleep lol haha πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

  3. Assign a dog in each poultry section to bark if there are human and animal predators put surveillance camera .A dog fence made of steel so they are not roaming around. One if the good one is outside as guard dog to alert if there are thieves at night.

  4. Excellent idea Señor! Some screen doors over the bearings boxes are my feeling and some bamboo strips nailed along the top of the screen where the dogs can pull it down. Simple cheap precautions. Looks really good! Someone must have snuck into the super secret vault of great ideas 😝. Email Budget.

  5. Brian – my brother in law watches your videos and used your idea on our brooder cages – the panels you used on Tatays work shop – he welded the cages- net for bottom and screen for tops – will last long time – he is like Tatay a Mc Giver –

  6. If you need a little more height above the fence perhaps a wire or two above the fence would be enough to discourage the dogs from trying to jump over.

  7. You should get a half dozen headlamps. Lazada sell a bunch and they don’t cost much if you can’t find them locally. You could also run an electric fence wire around that enclosure.

  8. BRIAN -MARICEL TIM K AND CHRISSY K IN S LEYTE ,IS LOOKING FOR A KANO WHOSE DONE SOLAR STUFF ,U ARE ONLY ONE I KNEW ,I GAVE HIM YOUR NAME AND CHANNEL .HEES ON AS TIM K YOUTUBE CHANNEL IN LEYTE

  9. Brian you seem to be a numbers guy to me. How much are those dogs costing you for the return they provide ? I have also seen dogs climb, jump over, dig under 6′ fences.

  10. Hi Brian May be it’s not the dogs some one is stealing your hen at night when you are sleeping πŸ€”you need a light at night . THAT WILL STOP THEN OK HOPE YOU GET SOME ONE πŸ‘πŸ•πŸΆπŸπŸπŸπŸπŸˆ

  11. Work out which dog’s are doing it and dispatch them, once a dog has been blooded on chickens it will keep doing it no matter what, sorry to say but Time to cull, here in Australia, it would be done likkity split

  12. Do what you gotta do to keep the chicken safe. I am assuming if it is the dogs and they are not killing them for food just for sport. If that is the case then maybe they need a new home.

  13. Brian, are you sure that you have not gotten a monitor lizard around there ? About a year ago you had one hinging around your yard ,the which you allowed great respect. It could go and sleep among the trees under the leaves and come out at night and catch chickens to feed their young. Time will tell because those lizards can climb and jump and burrow.
