  2. Wow. Wish I could be as good as you. I just uploaded my YouTube videos while I was there. I hope I can go back soon and make some more.

  3. i think you were the first person i subscribed to
i haven’t been to many places in Thailand only 1 trip so far but it was cool to see the places i had been in your vids

  4. Missing Tarn, Thailand and Paige. Hope to one day meet you too, but your videos are great. Reminds me not to be too serious if I can and to try for Notimetobesad 🙂 – wondering if you would consider doing an Isan Hash House Harriers to cover a bigger area and split the load but get some exercise, fun and comradirie around the world through Thai and USA connections too. Please let us know?

  5. I always have adored the the Thai society.
But the constant noise of television always on drive me crazy.

I went to a Thai funeral “reception” 1989. Sat drinking cokes, talking with family.. A tv was sitting on the coffin making noise. Really.

  6. Thank You (Kawp khun krap if google isn’t lying) all for the effort to bring those Videos to us. They give an nice insight of Thailand. I hope You all enjoyed the trip and will be rested well after an good nights sleep.

  7. Chuck,you are a credit to yourself.
You make such a huge effort to intergrate with your family and life in thailand.
I live in pattaya, but have learnt a lot from your videos.

  8. Hi Chuck, your fortuner has front disc brakes and rear disc or drum brakes, my fortuner has discs all round it’s 2019 model. What brand of radar detector are the best to buy in thailand do you think. Thanks for the video.

  9. HEY CHUCK AND PAIGE, THAT WAS A NICE VIDEO. THAT PIZZA CUTTER LOOKS GREAT. I THINK YOU WILL GET A LOT OF USE OUT OF IT. LOOKING FORWARD TO SEEING YOU USE IT FOR THE FIRST TIME.

ABOUT THE SPOON,FORK AND KNIFE. I HAD SOME EXPERIENCE WITH THE PEOPLE AT A THAI RESTAURANT IN OREGON AND THEIR EXPLANATION ABOUT THE FORK. SHE TOLD ME THAT THAI PEOPLE COULDN’T UNDERSTAND WHY ANYONE WOULD WANT TO PUT SOMETHING WITH A SHARP POINT ON IT IN THEIR MOUTH. THAT MADE SINCE TO ME. WE WOULD ALWAYS EAT THAI STYLE WHEN WE WOULD GO TO THE THAI RESTAURANT.

AFTER MOVING TO THAILAND 11 YEARS AGO, I WOULD MAKE TRIPS BACK TO SEE MY MOM AND GO TO A LOCAL THAI RESTAURANT. ONE DAY THE SERVER ASKED ME ABOUT ME USING THE THAI STYLE OF EATING AND I EXPLAINED THAT I LIVED IN THAILAND. SO AFTER THAT SHE WOULD MAKE SURE I SET IN HER AREA OF THE RESTAURANT.

LOOKING FORWARD TO YOUR NEXT TRIP. I UNDERSTAND YOU WILL BE GOING TO A 4TH OF JULY PARTY AND I WANTED TO GO TO BUT WITH MY FRIEND PEWLY’S MOM DYING THERE IS A BIG CELEBRATION OF HER LIFE IN THE VILLAGE WHERE SHE LIVED AND PEWLY HAS ASKED ME TO GO. HE IS A GOOD FRIEND AND I WOULDN’T MISS IT. MAYBE NEXT YEAR.

MAKE SURE YOU DO A VIDEO SO I CAN SEE WHAT I AM MISSING.

  10. Great video Chuck, good to see you back at home all safe, that hotel you stayed at look nice, Guys enjoy your next Trip have a Awesome time

  11. My wife is a thai citizen i might GTFO of USA we have kids can have a nice life for cheap ive been to thailand loved it. If America gets any crazier im out no reason to be loyal to a govt that downright hostlie to the average law abiding citizen.

  12. Ok… back at the ranch…. safe and sound. Good call in the brakes. Kind of like a chasing your tail situation. How long do you think that will take to do them all? I really like the service we get at the dealership (Chevy) they have great waiting lobby’s with refreshments like muffins and hot coffee. And, as you said, they always detail the vehicle. Land of smiles for sure. Ok…. thanks as always for the vlog. :-))

  13. Greeting from Wahoo, NE U.S.A. On learning to pronounce a new language… When I was around 3 years old I fell and bit off the end of my tongue . As you can imagine pronouncing English words correctly was very difficult for me. I was in a speech class for 12 years. What help me the most was a little used procedure forcing me to hear the way I pronounce words. They put on me a very good set of head phones, connected to an amplifier. The instructor would pronounce the word or part of it and I kept trying to find a way to make the same sound as they did. (As you know from your video..the way you sound in your head is not the way you sound in the air.) This technique might help you in pronounce Thai language words…. I am old and will never fly again, so I will never leave the states, so I enjoy your videos of a different land. I worked with many Asian and other non-English speaking people for decades. Where I worked had seven common languages spoken ( more the 50 people speaking it). Communication was very interesting at times. Best of everything to you.

  14. Thoroughly enjoyed this video. Last visited Nakhon Phanom in 2008,stood above the Mekong and looked across to the mountains where the Ho Chi Minh trail passed. Would be nice to return some day to Thailand.

  15. Seriously Chuck thank you for taking the time to make these videos….I know I have said it before but I lead a stressful lifestyle here in southern Calif…and when I get home its nice to relax and watch your videos….it helps me realize that there is peace out there and it brings calmness to me watching your daily adventures

  16. Same fork and spoon utensils used in Indonesia, and used in the same way. I only use a knife to spread peanut butter on my Ritz crackers. I enjoy your “daily life” videos almost every day. Cheers!

  17. Hey Chuck, I think a lot of people that watch your videos are subscribed but don’t sign in which makes it look like a non subscriber is watching and hasn’t subscribed… if you know what I mean. Your videos always come up on my priority feed even when I’m not signed in so I just click to watch it as an apparent ‘non subscriber.’

  18. I read once the reason the Chinese cut everything up in bite size pieces is that they don’t want you, the guest, to work hard in cutting up your food. it would be considered rude otherwise.

  19. chuck chuck chuck that is a PMDG 737 for flight simulator’s which I have in my flight sim that is a top of the range aircraft VH is the call signs for Qantas jets I am jealous good sticker that’s me 747

  20. i enjoy your videos chuck .and the outings you do .i myself and wife from sisaket have traveled quite a bit around thailand and enjoy it a lot my other half likes the temples and have been to many ,one thing i dont see your address so i can send stickers to you .im currently stuck in scotland and dont know when i will be able to fly back to los .so all the best take care .

PS .stop eating so much ,everytime i see you eat it makes me want to go to the fridge ,lol

  21. I alway click the Like button. Its great to see some honest content on Youtube unlike so much fake stuff eg. guys with gf in bikini shllow stuff

  22. You may already have Patreon, Insta ETC…..that can’t help.
Perhaps some more involvement from the Thai family. Translating what they say makes it more interesting to hear their thoughts rather than just seeing them, just saying……
To give more insight into their lives, background, future and hobbies. It may be more of a series if you get me !
I always enjoy your videos the way they are mate

  23. Going to Samui next weekend? My favorite island in entire Thailand, because it has it all spread out on the island (in normal times) I just saw a few videos from CB media, where he just left Samui this week. Seems like the island is totally dead atm, so expect a very different Samui compared to normal, but if you like solitude and few tourist ,now maybe is a good time? You know what my patreon account is if you want me to send you a tip or two 🙂 Looking forward to see what you think of it, even if things are closed down there. We’re getting together soon with some buddies to plan our thailand trips next year, so it’s nice to follow your adventures meanwhile 🙂
