    1. jesus mate unreal, ohh i believe it dont worry the vets in australia are a joke. Play on peoples emotions, hope all is well & take care

  1. Thanks for the video. We enjoyed it.. I hope Thailand recovers sooner
Than later. Feel sorry for everyone who has no work. Thanks china.i will never buy anything made in china again………

    1. Thanks mate much appreciated πŸ™πŸ˜€ Yeah china have really screwed us thats for sure, hope all is well and take careπŸ˜€πŸ‘

  2. Agreed: 2020 sucks so far. What a bloody year. Sorry to hear about Sebastian. That expensive bottle was Cognac. And yes… the bottle is crystal glass. I tried some bought by a friend. To me, not worth it at all (I’d rather spend it looking after my dog), but he liked to show off with his money and he had money to throw around.

  3. johnny back in 1999, i had a 5 year old dog that needed this surgery, it was about $2,000 here in NY back then. she had both legs done and was standing on her legs when i picked her up. she had some follow up physical therapy. my son was born the next year and because she survived 10 more years as a wonderful family member- she got to be a part of his life. it was well worth it.

    1. @Jonny There Is Something Happening We don’t play with your emotions. You come to us with an issue and we do our best to help. We give you all your options. What more can we do?

Vets have the highest suicide rate in the UK and most make less than nurses.

I hope your dog does well. You seem like a very good owner.

  4. Hey Jonny, I had a Husky many years ago got hit by a car when he was young, 2 broken legs, whilst his legs were healing he had a similar problem to you dog and his knee started popping in and out, Vet told me he needed both operated on but needed to wait until the plates were removed first. In the meantime I brought a cheap above ground pool and took him for a swim every day.

Took him back to the vet for his operation a month later and they said he was fine, nothing wrong with him.

    Just an idea for you.

    1. Cheers paul thanks for the advice yeah i have decided not to rush into surgery. went to the hospital again yest and we have decied to keep him on medication for a month and do lazer therapy 3 times a week. maybe when its looking better we can try hydrobath therapy but hes just not ready for that yet. thanks agaon for the advice & take care

  5. Just think of all that money being saved on the weekly jaunt to the Bangkok boys trip of shame you usually take. Soon you’ll be a millionaire.

  6. Good thing that you’re rich……………..I love dogs, but they can get expensive…………………they are still cheaper than a wife and kids

  7. Sometimes when in Thailand you have these times were you seem to be sending a small fortune on things. But it’s all good. Just don’t get married to a Thai or don’t try and buy a house or land. I know your not that stupid anyway mate. So it’s all good πŸ‘

    1. LOl yeah i def wouldnt buy a house at this stage maybe if the aud-thb went back up to 30thb i would but until then my investments will stay on the Gold coast. Thanks for watching mate take care

    1. Jonny There Is Something Happening cheers mate, all well with me and the family in BKK. Hopefully catch up and meet for a beer in the not so distant future.

    2. Cheers paul, no still in the same house have actually just signed another 1 year lease wont be going to bangkok this year in the current situation. Im enjoying Hua Hin also, hope all is well mate & take πŸ˜€πŸ‘care

  8. Hi Jonny, hope you’re keeping well, the carpet runners are a good idea, poor Sabastian, it’s horrible to see a pet going through these issues, but it’s fortunate that you can afford to expense his treatment.

  9. Too bad about your Dog,I could not afford to do what your doing.I hope everything turns out for your Dog. I like Dogs.I have a good friend who has 23 dogs, she takes in strays but food bill is killing her budget.

  10. Louis XIII is quite a strong tasting cognac. It’s made from the grapes from a very small designated area which is why it is so expensive.

    1. Jonny There Is Something Happening of course mate. If you can try it at least once. For a three-digit price for a single you know won’t overdo it. Lol.

  11. Sorry to hear about Sebastian, hope he gets better soon.Poor lad.
Hair color looks good mate, makes you look younger.
At 7:42 on the left hand side is The Puang Pen Villa, where I always stay when I’m in town!

  12. Hello Johnny hope you well mate and being safe.Sorry to hear about your dog but in the end all money well spent as I am sure you would be sad if the dog was gone.I like the sound of carpet runners haha,I would love to see that set up round the house but like you said the tiles do not help I think as the dog is alway stepping more than normal.Take care mate and be safe.

  13. Can you get animal insurance in thailand J? At 100K plus in the last 4 months for your dog would pay for a damn good insurance policy for years wouldn’t it?

    1. Pet insurance in thailand is rare i think, but he prob wont be able to be covered now since it would a pre condition. But i do regret not looking into it

  14. Hi Jonny…. Did you bring Sebastien to Thailand, or get him there?? Wife and I are considering a move back to Thailand (I lived in Phuket from 2011-2014.) We’d be bringing our dog with us from the states..

    1. Hello i purchased sebastian in about 5 years ago in bangkok, i believe its a pretty easy process to bring a dog into the kingdom. i wish you all well on the move, take care & stay safeπŸ˜€πŸ‘

  15. Hi Johnny…you and the misses and Title stay safe and healthy…god willing this virus craziness will be over soon for all of us…can you provide an update on Godfry when you have a moment?

    1. @Jonny There Is Something Happening Thank you…so glad to hear Golfry is better. Trust me…if I could choose…i would rather be in Thailand right now than here in America to ride out the virus. Take care…look forward to your next one and returning to Thailand as soon as this is all behind us.

    2. Hello, thanks for well wishes everyone is safe and well just a bit bored thats all like everyone. Golfry is doing well now hes out of hospital and back working he had a liver infection unfort but is doing heaps better. Hope all is well & stay safeπŸ˜€πŸ‘

  16. sis had the same breed. Tiles are tough for those little doggies. And of course they tend to be cuddlers and love to jump up and down to chairs and couches. Ours was almost trained to use a small step stair case that let him walk up and down to the couch, but of course when he got excited the bugger would just jump like superman off the couch.

Got to say that is one big nice looking toaster oven.

  17. Never over feed your dog, just like fat people blow out their knees there are consequences to bad diet. Give your dogs vitamins like vit c, glucosamine, cod liver oil etc, my dogs are skinny and 16yrs old only gone to vet twice for teeth, my fault for not getting teeth cleaned but the vet wants $1,000.00cdn for teeth cleaning, its really a rip.

  18. Now, the world can be a nasty crazy place out there, we need a lot of courage and we need a lot of resilience after that, and we will fall down before we stand up… What really matters is the silence of the night in our conscience, when we are alone. We cannot control what happens but we can use what happens. We have so much reserves of love and support inside us, if we can just remember that in our mind and move on.

  19. Cute pup I have a jack Russell he is 15 and bullet proof I think it’s the bred of dog to be honest. Super cute pup money we’ll spent your a good guy!

  20. Hey Johnny, I was thinking, if something the entire world is going to learn from all this is how little or much less people really need to get by with in life. I have a feeling is not too going to be business as usual, at least till the dumb humans forget the lessons learned like they always do.

  21. I think you jumped the gun with the surgery as an immediate option. Therapy or epidurals would have been the prudent way to. go. My Pug was clubbing his paws like Sebastian. He didn’t need surgery and responded well with the shots. Any surgery on the vertebrate is an invitation for more surgery. I suspect Sebastian is having issues now with other discs. due to his surgery. Vets tend to think more like ortho guys than neurosurgeons. I’m hoping Sebastien gets relief and you don get fleece.d

    1. I agree i may have opened up a can of worms with the spine surgery, i will def wont be doing that again. Thanks for the comment take care πŸ˜€πŸ™

  22. Love how you love the dog what a cutie and god bless you for what you’re doing especially getting the carpets that will defo help for his grip and strengthen his legs…BTW its Louis 13th..lol

  23. Weight loads, the joints, tendons. Also once loaded, the kinetic chain is effected, ie posture not correct. This then means part that’s in pain compensates for ok side. Weight reduction great idea for correction. Hope everything becomes ok, take care. Be safe.

    1. Yeah i totally agree i just put a order in for 6 kgs of royal caine dog food its specially made for weight loss so fingers crossed it helps. many thanks for the advice take careπŸ˜€πŸ™

  24. You be coloring your hair so you could look like a blond πŸ‘±β€β™‚οΈ headed beach bum. lol πŸ˜‚ πŸ˜‚ πŸ˜‚ πŸ˜† hahahahaha LOL!!!!

  25. How is the Covid-19 situation over there in Thailand? How many people are infected, how many recovered, and how many died so far? You should make a video explaining what’s happening over there Johnny.

  26. there’s currently no vaccine to prevent coronavirus disease (COVID-19).
You can protect yourself and help prevent spreading the virus to others if you:
    Do
Wash your hands regularly for 20 seconds, with soap and water or alcohol-based hand rub
Cover your nose and mouth with a disposable tissue or flexed elbow when you cough or sneeze
Avoid close contact (1 meter or 3 feet) with people who are unwell
Stay home and self-isolate from others in the household if you feel unwell
    Don’t
Touch your eyes, nose, or mouth if your hands are not clean

  27. Hey Johnny, an Aussie thinking of making the move to Thailand. I did live in Bangkok near Sukhumvit soi 15 for a few months. Was thinking of living in Phuket this time around, why have you chosen Hua Hin over those other places. Is Phuket not a great place to live?

    1. Hey Daniel, I have lived in Phuket & Bangkok but much prefer Hua Hin cause its like a sleepy resort town. I was thinking about moving 2 Bangkok but with corona situation I have put it off for another year. at least. I would recommend living here for 3 months to see if you like it. Hope this helps πŸ˜€πŸ‘

  28. Great video. My best wishes for Sebastian’s recovery (and for your financial solvency). As a dog person myself, it breaks my heart to see them suffer. Take care.

  29. Jonny, your on to something when you say that the slippery tiles could be contributing to Sebastian s leg problems..The little bugger just cant get a grip…get some strips of short pile carpeting, that should help ease the inflammation in His legs a bit..Then ask the vet or google if there is a cream you can put on his paw pads that will make his paws grip the slick tile better…good luck mate!!!!

  30. Go to Amazon and type in paw grip…you will see a couple things to put on bottom of his feet..the Beach and dog co paw grip is what I use..lasts all day long and my 11 year old dog finally likes to walk on tile now..

  31. At least in Thailand they do as they are told. Here in England some people just don’t give a shit. This is why Thailand only has 25 deaths and we have Β£6000!

  32. Spent five weeks in HuaHin last year with the gf. from the Philippines. Can’t wait to return.. never been in city where we felt so chilled. Stay safe mate. Gud vid! πŸ‘πŸ‡¬πŸ‡§

  33. Crazy! I have been thinking of going to hua hin to train at a thai gym..but i live in canada and obviously these are harsh times..I want to go for 6 months. .I hope you are safe and can help me with some stuff I should kno..when the time is right!

    Stay blessed mateπŸ™πŸ½πŸ‰πŸ’š

  34. Glucosamine/condroitin will help. All good food should have it. Look for it in food. It will help lubricate the joints. Trust me mate, I’m a Vet. https://www.amazon.com/Grain-Free-Glucosamine-Dogs-Chondroitin/dp/B01N32PFWJ also, liquid. Better to do liquid….you can buy smaller portions. Best to try before operation mate. I would do a gallon to last longer. Keep in frig after opened. https://www.amazon.com/Liquid-Health-Lh-Glucosamine-1gal/dp/B00074W4GW/ref=sr_1_19?crid=10JIUJCE78U9O&dchild=1&keywords=bulk+glucosamine&qid=1586762533&s=pet-supplies&sprefix=bulk+glucosamin%2Cpets%2C212&sr=1-19

  35. Fck Thailand only after something marriage there is a form of prostitution money trust me theres better places to make you welcome ex merchant seaman ben line

  36. The things we do for our pets, going broke to keep them healthy for one. lol We had a parakeet that was dying, and I had 2k in the bank I was ready to spend to save him, but I couldn’t find a bird vet fast enough, and he died quickly, some growth in his throat. Loved that bird, he would chew on my mustache, and talk to me. He had about a 25 word vocabulary, very smart bird. I taught him F U on accident, well, not accidental, just said it a few times to see if he’d say it, he did! lol Unfortunately, my wife would take him to work for the kids she taught. lol He soon forgot the words, and all was well. I sincerely hope your dog gets well one way or the other, but I know $2000 is not a problem, and you’d spend 10 grand if needed.
