  1. must be hard to live in a third world country that has a lot of inconvenience but at least most the people are friendly- not like other places in the world

  2. They have traffic laws in china like the usa and you must pass a test were you know 1000 answers to get a driver lic but after that they mean zero- no right of way rules are followed

  3. Masks do nothing but decrease oxygen intake. I was at pretty much the finest hotel the other day. The servers wear a mask but constantly adjust it from the front, then hand you silverware, glasses, food….which completely defeats the purpose, were masks able to prevent a virus from passing through.

  4. Hey I’m a vaper in the US and would like to see that vape shop or maybe you could pop in during 1 of your walk n talk vlogs down waking street. Also, do you still vape ? If you do where do you buy your e liquid or do you make your own. Just wondering and great vlog that cockatiel was beautiful. Thanks

  5. I got screamed at by a barangay official for asking him why he isn’t wearing a mask, after he told me I must always wear a mask… I was walking in my neighborhood, malabanias, on a street with no one around me, so my mask was down so I could actually breathe ok… Never been screamed at in this country in 11 years. Shits changing folks. He screamed, do not compare yourself to others.

  6. FYI: In watching CNBC in the U.S. today, it was stated that the dollar is projected to get weaker! By how much and for how long I am not sure.

  7. The rate is going to continue downwards into mid-thirties. The billions in debt to China is coming due. Those loans only get paid by exchange rate manipulation. Please look at the history of the Thai Baht. Same pattern is slowly emerging in The Philippines.

  8. Thats pretty expensive for four pills that may or may not be genuine, in Australia it costs around 25 dollars for 12 tablets with a script, they will come down on the price but still expensive and risky buying from an unknown source

  9. Ya, wouldn’t dare go near that Cialis/Viagra from the street vendors. You can buy at the Pharmacies here (With Prescription) and sometimes without, LOL for around P 1,250 for a box of 5 (100 mg) real stuff. As far as the Bars and hotels…Even when they open up international travel to foreigners again, it makes no sense to open the bars and/or hotels, if Social distancing/mask policies are still in effect. If your visiting Angeles and Walking Street as a Tourist, your most likely here to experience socialization with some of the ladies/Girls (mainly). You can drink anywhere, but if you can’t properly socialise and gather, it’s just not worth it, in my option.

  10. I saw in one of your earlier videos that some of Walking Street’s bars had undergone recent renovations, this would indicate that, at some future stage they will reopen. Maybe not all bars will reopen simply due to current and immediate ongoing lack of income (due to covid closure) could have caused financial difficulties for Owners/Investors, hence non-renewal of some existing leases. I’ve heard, through the “Grapevine” that International Flights and Tourist Visas may start being permitted by September / October this year. Personally, I have no intention to travel anywhere till the COVID Vaccine has been released.

  11. Sure the Walking Street bars will re-open, the popular ex-pat bars will break even until tourism resumes. Barrio Barretto seems to be re-opening now.

  12. I am surprised to found out that the pawn shop in the corner of Mt. View is gone and it is now a fruit store. A lot of things changed already in Angeles city, except for the famous STOP sign 🤣😂

  13. I guess if you’re drunk and somehow got lucky then you’re willing to take a chance buying fake viagra hoping it’ll help you get it up. Forex shows 49.52 pesos to 1 USD.

  14. When I first went to the Philippines in 1990 the most popular Hotel for taking girls for sex was in the same street as your StoreHaven Hotel Cruz Ave Ext on the left going towards Marque Mall.

  15. It’s so funny that where you ended this video, I was pick pocketed by 2 young beauties last November. It was raining and I tipped a few at La bamba’s. Luckily they only got my fake wallet with a few hundred pesos and not my money belt with thousands! Time for a road trip! Bryan!!! Peace out!

  16. People walk on the road, WHY, because they cannot walk on the footpath because of vehicles and advertising signs preventing them from doing so. Only in the Philippines!

  17. I consider myself an expert on Angeles. Been in/out since 1971 with a 9 year absence from 78′-85′. I know of expats who dropped over dead from taking that fake Viagra. Fake booze was sold in years gone by. as well. There was a time not too long ago, when an expat with a video camera would have been a big target, going up/down Fields Ave.(Walking Street my Ass!-Walking St. is in Thailand!)…you would lose the cam your wallet…Life? Who knows? Any smart guy who can learn a little Tagalog & head out to the provinces, beaches etc…can get laid! Easy!
No need for any bars. The bar gig..is UP! Pretty much over. Do you really need bars to fine ladies?? NO! I guess the old/stupid/ugly/funky guys need bars! Ha ha…I am 69 full head of hair, 6’1” tall, I speak pretty good Tagalog & I could get laid in Baguio, La Union, Manila, anywhere!
I also sing karaoke, good…and I know how to dress act, and behave! Like Sinatra..it just takes Class, Money, a little looks, style…and you are IN! Piss on the stupid bars! Learn to pick up girls in the Malls, parks, on a jeepney! I have a steady girl now…no need…I used to hang with Filipino actors in Manila, back in the 70’s, 80’s…more women than I could shake a stick at!~ Screw those stupid bars! And you won’t learn much from Philly Cheese Steak there…hehehe..he ain’t exactly “Superfly”…hehehehe…..

  18. If the city doesn’t get their revenues from the businesses tax pay, where then do they get it from? Most people in the Philippines do not pay income tax, or property tax on time, what then do they get the money?

  19. Brian, near the end of the video you were mentioning the fact that you had no idea about why/how the exchange rate goes up/down. I’ve lived here for almost 17 years now, four in Angeles and the rest in and around Mindanao. We’ve lived in three different places since we moved here in 2008. But I digress.

The exchange rate, although it is supposed to float with the market, often does not. Some fluctuations make no sense whatsoever and I tie those into currency manipulation by the Philippine government. The times when the dollar/peso rate goes down seem to coincide with 1) OFW inflows of dollars, 2) whenever the price of oil goes down (the Philippines uses dollars to buy oil because pesos are not accepted but they don’t have to buy up dollars when the price is lower because they keep a good supply of dollars on-hand at the Banco Central), and 3) when a CHMMP occurs and wrecks the world economy.

That’s my laymen’s understanding of how the currency exchange rates work here in the Philippines. Also, you’ll notice that the Euro and the Pound are ALWAYS rated better than the dollar. That has to do with the fact that the Philippines has big investments in the EU and Britain and they inflate the currency so it’s cheaper to do business. Sorry this ran on so long. Hope you will have time to read it.

  20. Philly, you said it before.. similar to when Mt. Pinitubo destroyed that area.. and chased the US military away from the bases for good, that area came back bigger and better than before.
THIS TOO SHALL PASS.. lets hope or guess February 2021.. but someday for sure. TOO many jobs, too much money flowing, hotels, bars, restaurants and ALL THE SERVICE jobs related to all of those.. IT WILL COME BACK.. eventually.

  21. Am I the only one who notices quite a few people not wearing masks as well as a lot of people have one but are not covering there face go figure. Nice update today on walking street and currency rate, be safe and see you on the next vlog.

  22. NOTE to all the guys even considering buying “FAKE PILLS” from these walk-about vendors.. you can go to REAL pharmacies there and get the REAL THING.. but those guys are absolutely fake! Very convincing packaging to fool idiots. But if you google or youtube.. you can see tests on the crushed pills.. they’re often plaster, flower, talc, that can only do harm. What is your health worth?
