In this video I bring yo to Home Pro (Depot) for a look around, after it opened back up from being closed due to the current world situation. Since moving to Prachuap Khiri Khan, I’ve been itching to buy bikes for Gift and I, in the hopes of getting more exercise in. We also meet up with a subscriber (Retired US Marshall and former solider) and his girlfriend to have lunch. Follow mw on Instagram at joegreenwtf. Please don’t forget to like, share and subscribe.
Pleasure to be one of the first commenters Joe. Having lived on and off in Thailand for many years, I look forward to your vlogs. You seem an honest and open guy. Best of luck to you and Gift.
Thanks Joe. You and Gift will be burning up the roads now! LOL
Great video!! ๐โค๏ธ๐๐ผ love the bikes ๐ด๐ฒ
Home improvement stores are my Best Friend. The prices there are mind blowing. Toilets here are $300 – $1200.00.
HEY JOE AND GIFT, NICE TO SEE YOU GUYS OUT AND ABOUT. I LIKE THAT WE ARE ABLE TO MOVE AROUND MORE. I LOVE THE AREA YOU GUYS HAVE CHOSEN TO LIVE IN. CLOSE TO THE BEACH AND CLOSE TO SHOPPING. SEE YOU IN YOUR NEXT VIDEO.
Youโve got to cook with gas!!! ๐
I noticed you buying mountain bikes – good, they say most stores here in Houston are running low on bikes cause most ppl are buying them up. I’ve had my bikes now for a number of years – mountain, comfort & road bike – depends on where I want to ride that day , I’ll email you pic – Be Safe & God bless – Chuck’s out riding his road bike now
It was hard to watch with the constant flickering.
Great stuff guys.
No email on you, Chuck’s got pics of ’em
#1 fav. Food is Asian. Hey FJ, by chance do you know what the length of quarantine if a person wanted to bring their dog over their ?
You both are living the life. You rent which is very smart. Your not tied down. Donโt ever change that. When comparing the rents to the cost of owning it doesnโt make sense. Plus your free. I enjoy watching your videos
thumbs up
I like your videos and your attitude! Stay safe!
Hi Joe, those bikes were custom made for that wagon! Look forward to seeing you guys on the roads.
Hi Joe, Another great vlog entry! Is HOME PRO in any way affiliated with Home Depot here in the USA or is it just a coincidence in the choice of name(s)?
Thankfully the supply stores never closed here otherwise I wouldnโt have been able to work at all. Looks like good all purpose bikes you guys got, I miss riding on the beach, the food in that area is so fresh, delicious and cheap ๐
Thanks for sharing, many blessings to you, Gift and family ๐๐ผ
Cheers ๐ป
Very noticeable flicker of the lights. Can be fixed by switching from NTSC (60hz) to PAL (50hz) if camera has an option to. Or use certain shutter speeds and frame rates that are multiples of 50hz, 1/50 1/100 , 50p etc
Your videos have inspired us to come and stay at Bang Saphan and have lunch at JJ Burger next month. We live in Hua Hin and enjoy your positive approach and that you are helping the stray dogs. Good job Joe.
Thanks Joe and Gift… now you can ride over to see Chuck and Paige…. maybe meet half way….:-))
A Thai restaurant in Thailand ๐ค Now thatโs unique ๐
you like that restaurant ๐ I can see why was very good
P.S. Have kanok RIch check LINE sent him info on bluport and buggie boards he asked about. sorry to ask noticed he did not see, He is keeping the beaches clean Sorry to bother you have a great evening
that’s a painful trip to the store, but at least you got some nice toys
I apologize for the flickering lights everyone. Something I should have noticed when uploading my video. Stay safe! All the best!
Thanks for the tour of Home Pro. Glad to see you and Gift are well. Stay safe.
That’s awesome ! Would love to go to your next subscriber meet up when the COVID situation slows down ! ๐๐
We don’t have so comprehensive store in Malaysia. But we IKEA and Ace. These two combined then we have your Home store.
Very good.. Very good ๐๐ stay fit My friend
Absolutely love the Home Depot stores. Prices do look great. My last bathroom remodel cost $700.00 for the toilet and it was not the top of the line. The only videos of yours I like better are the Drone shots. Great job on this one Joe.
I loved the tour of Home Pro. Looks like a Ikea store. I am a bit confused on the bikes. Why did you buy four(4) bikes when there is just the two of you? Stay well my friend.
Great vid joe.
I wish I can come to Thailand n see u n Joe, with our current circuit breaker in SG. U GUYS are nice people, hope 1 day we will meet n have a good meal n fun together, Joe.
Looks like a great store and most prices were much less than USA, how far from where you live to there? Was it in a bigger city
You both are looking well, cant wait to see you both soon I hope. Thanks
Please wait at least 10 years before looking to build/buy a house! Just relax, rent houses or cottages at different places and travel! (I want to watch travel videos from Asia, not home remodeling ๐
Did he say $45.00 to $50.00 for that lunch in The US ? Now thatโs funny ๐. It would more than likely be $75.00 plus a tip.
Looks like you are having a good time. I feel sad for Americans, you guys got hit hard on the pandemic. I hope everything will get better in the USA. Welcome to Thailand, stay as long as you want, be part of us.
Love Gift riding the bike. Very courageous lady:) Good one, Joe.
Hi Joe. Here is some info on the flickering. It depends in which country you are in. The power supply change in certain countries either at 60Mhz or 50Mhz. You can normally determine that to like at a appliance like a fridge or iron or something that you have bought or see at a shopping centre or on the DB BOARD in the house. The mode for cameraโs can be changed in the settings either something like PAL or NTSC.
Here is more info I found on the web.
depends on the power source frequency your country is supplying.
in order to eliminate flickering at 50Hz you have to be in PAL mode, at 50fps or 25fps.
in this way, the frames are taken in the same moment of the sinusoid. 50fps in the same at 25fps in the same plus and minus part.
the thing is, in this way, the fluorescent tubes and LED light source are stable in the footage.
same in 60Hz country, use NTSC.
what is HEVC (h.265) in NTSC at 60/120/240fps is HEVC in PAL at 50/100/200 fps.
what is not HEVC (h.264) in NTSC is accordingly not HEVC in PAL.
Give a try and experiment.
Enjoy
Cheers
Pal = 50Hz and NTSC=60Hz
I wish we had store like that in US by the way cool bikes two bike like that here 1200 hundred easy
Great vid Joe and Gift. I’ve also recently just purchased a bike having been out of the saddle for 26 years. I rode everywhere up until i got my license at 25 y.o. then stopped cycling virtually overnight. I was pretty well much influenced by Chuck to take it up again by watching his cycling vlogs. Hope to see some cycling vlogs from yourself and Gift. All the best from Australia! ๐๐ฆ๐บ
