What kind of mileage do you put on the scooter every month ?
@StarManFlorida i haven’t been keeping track. but locally, not much since ‘town’ is only 5 minutes away. a full tank lasts me almost a week. but i have ridden from cebu to dumaguete and argao before.
wow – very inexpensive by US standards – lol!
hello , first time writing here .just a quick question for u . do u have to lock up ur bike with a chain everywhere u go
Life is GOOD when things are cheap! All that work done in the USA would cost mucho pesos. Whipping out the videos, keep them coming brother 🙂
wow nice really cheap I a curiput I do my own work brakes repadded I love working on bikes did you change your seat to Henry its red now I have man like that for big problems and also a vulcanising place in our town so we are lucky mine is a honda to 100 big fat man like me riding a small bike hahhaa nice Henry you video’s yo know I got a Sj4000 is so much like your cam
Good idea henry, thanks for the video 🙂
Are you changing the ignition/key set changed because of the break in before?
@easymoneynch yes. my spare key was stolen in moalboal (it was in my backpack). now, with a different keyset, i can take a roadtrip through there and not worry about it. plus the old one had a damaged anti-theft cover that didn’t work properly. now i have a functional one again.
I am guessing your bike is a Honda. What are the specs on it? How much did you pay for it? Brand new?
I have been in the PH for almost 3 weeks now and am in the market for a bike.
@eagletal88 i think it is either 100cc or 120cc. i overpaid for mine on bohol (convenience since i was living there at the time).. about $1,400 if i remember correctly. could have gotten it cheaper on cebu. i bought mine brand new from a dealer (du ek sam). i tried from a private party before and almost got ripped off so, now i only deal with a dealer.
So cheap to have work done on your scooter . Great info . Later
Or Vulcanizing shops….
Excellent advice!. I am a 40 yr ASE cert master tech and former shop owner of 13yrs. I shipped most of my equipment here after I sold my shop. BOY ! sure glad I did. Finding a good tech is hard. Once you find one hold on to them forever. A pat on the back and a tip for a job well done will be worth gold in the future. Glad to say I don’t have that problem. No one works on my stuff but me 🙂
thanks men ..
Hi Henry, how are the prices at the dealership, I know here the word “dealership” usually means expensive, are they relatively cheap too?
What are the extra costs like yearly plate fees? how about insurance? What does insurance cover and how much is it? Thanks man!
There are lot of choices in the insurance. But the most common that is “default” in motor insurance is First person + Third party insurance. Meaning, the driver and the injured person that is bumped is insured.
but then again, it can be customized if preferred by the applicant.. at an additional cost of course.
Just be sure to read the Insurance Policy for its coverage.
Thanks for taking the time! Please, what exactly does the insurance cover?
@Rick Leclair … Initially when you buy a bike at dealerships.. they will take care of the 1 year registration and insurance (which is included on the price you pay for the bike).
After a year.. both registration and insurance will cost like around $30…good for another year.
Do You need ‘ Licence or Insurance For Moto Bike .. How much.. Thank’s in advance.
How much do you spend on gas per month?
about $10.
at those prices I would have my bike washed and waxed everyday lol
