  1. I really miss Thailand breakfast…so good. I donโ€™t really like spicy food here in America, but when I am in Thailand, spicy is easier to eat.

BTW, growing up in Chicago, it was/is and always will be The Sears Tower. ๐Ÿ™‚

  2. I am curious as to why you now say “good morning” in English a lot to people that you pass in the road instead of in Thai like you used to say it?

  3. Hey Chuck! Don’t leave yet…. Let’s meet up when this travel ban lifts. Happy Cinco De mayo! Paeng and I want to travel to New Zealand as well we should make it a trip.

  4. It is so much more helpful when the parents have a good idea of where you lived and where you come from as opposed to those who have no idea and build their expectations of you on myth and innuendo , for example , “all farangs have money “, and they keep tapping on that .
One good thing about your situation and it is rare , your Thai family appear to be well off , nice proud , independent people ,not hanging on your every dollar .
Off course we have to pay for our own living expenses and help out a bit , but in too many cases it’s extreme with Thais and they want your money all the time .

  5. When I looked at this video. It was on here for 15 minutes and had 5 dislikes. How can you dislike it when you haven’t even watched it all?

  6. This pot head has extra home in Colorado
kitchen remolded , new floor ring going in soon
no Bugs here . Akron Colorado
    no rent just power bill

  7. I’ve always wanted to see more of those pictures myself as well and was staring on the wall just right before you showed it hehe so Thanks for it and keep up the good work ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ™

  8. In the US, I used to use my debit card for everything. Here in Thailand, I’m happily surprised by how much I can pay for things at various outlets (and individuals) using my Thai bank smartphone application. Yesterday I paid for new tires on my truck with my smartphone, from a QR code displayed on the manager’s smartphone. Some aspects of Thai banking are really advanced and very convenient.

  9. Let me know when you would like any advice on how to make more interesting videos. I can help you for sure, it you’re interested…..you are getting pretty stale…..I can help you, bud.

  10. I grew up in Idaho, Wyoming and Colorado and could not wait to leave the snow. Uncle Sam took care of that and sent me to Vietnam then Thailand. I feel in love with Isaan and the people. If I ever returned to the USA ( not likely) it would be Colorado even though my kids all live in Texas. How about six months in Colorado near Estes Park and six months in Thailand? เน‚เธŠเธ„เธ”เธตChuck and Paige

  11. love hearing page now! why dont you get a boat and try in thailnd? I’m sure you could find the right lure that would work! That was always a big part of fishing to me finding the right lure or bait and the right rod and reel for the fish your trying to catch. Chucks next adventure!

  12. just an information the garden hose you have in my parents’ house gets dry quickly and breaks if you look at this video where you are inside and shop there is light blue garden hose it is the best you can get in thailand i use it myself and have had mine now for over 6 ate

  13. My wife also keeps things inside until the pressure builds up to a point it all comes out…while I complain before it makes me mad, because I don’t like to be mad. So it could be a difference between men and women?

  14. hey Chuck and Page,,,watched for a long time,,,,first ever subscribe to anything,,,,,,,,,,first time ive ever heard page speak like an American,,,i mean accent

  15. I donโ€™t miss Colorado but there are some nice places there, I liked the Grand Junction area myself, it sounded like you were describing Estes Park Colorado but there are a lot of parks near lakes so ๐Ÿคท๐Ÿปโ€โ™‚๏ธ other than to see family I donโ€™t think I would come back to the states after I retire, too many other places I havenโ€™t seen yet. Thanks for sharing, many blessings to you, Paige and family ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿผ
    Cheers ๐Ÿป

  16. I’m sitting here watching you in Glenwood Springs, Colorado. My wife is in Koch Singh watching over her mom as we are separated by Covid. We normally live in Khorat, in fact in the same subdivision as your aunt. Small world. When thing open up, you should absolutely try New Zealand during their summer. Best trout fishing anywhere and they are huge! We love your blogs!

  17. It’s funny even after 20 years of visiting Thailand I still have not gotten use to the spicy foods. My friends always cook one dish that is non spicy or just a little bit spicy.555

  18. You could buy a van, convert it and travel the US without all the stress and responsibilities of working in one place to pay the bills. A different kind of life but okay for a year or two, and as much bass fishing as you could ever want ๐Ÿ™‚

  19. As soon as this lockdown is over Lek and me want to visit that restaurant. Canโ€™t buy Aussie beef here in Prasat, missing a well cooked steak.

  20. HEY CHUCK AND PAIGE, NICE VIDEO. I JUST NOTICED SOMETHING FOR THE FIRST TIME I MAY HAVE MISSED . IT IN A PREVIOUS VIDEO BUT I NOTICED YOU HAVE TAKEN THE LABEL OFF OF THE LEO BEER BOTTLE. IS THAT BECAUSE FAKEBOOK THINKS YOU MAY BE ADVERTISING FOR THEM OR WHAT? UNFORTUNATELY I’M OCD SO I SEE THINGS LIKE THAT. YOU KNOW, THE SALT SHAKER OUT OF PLACE OR ALL THE LABELS ON THE CANS IN THE CABINET HAVE TO BE IN THE SAME DIRECTION. IT IS REALLY STARTING TO ANNOY ME. LOL

GOOD TO SEE THAT YOU ARE ABLE TO GET OUT NOW. I’M DOING THE SAME THING. BEEN IN BANGKOK FOR 3 DAYS NOW. CAME DOWN FROM KORAT WITH A FRIEND AND STAYING AT HER 5 BEDROOM PENTHOUSE ON THE 22ND AND 23RD FLOOR. THE VIEW IS AMAZING. IT’S NICE BUT I’M ALREADY MISSING MY LITTLE LITTLE APARTMENT IN KORAT..

  21. Y’all better keep your ass in Thailand. They getting ready to open up everything in America. And the coronavirus cases are rising. But you know America hard-headed. We lost another 2,000 people today. I wish I was in Thailand it seems like the people there cooperate better and listen.

  22. You say that we followers consider you as family. Well, maybe more like a reality show. Funny enough, I find your videos you make here during lock-down more interesting than the travel videos etc.
I looked up your home on Google maps. You’re right on the border to Laos!
I like your reflections on life in Thailand, and also your personal considerations. Really like a reality show!
How about making a video about the characteristics of people in the different parts of Thailand, you’ve visited? You could edit old footage from your travels and (importantly) and voice over, telling your reflections on psychology of Thai people.

  23. Chuck if you ever come to China and you fancy seafood take a look at Dalian I live there and would take care of you and Paige no problem.

  24. My wife and I were there in February and sat at same table as you and paige sat at and the food and service were absolutely great as was the view.

  25. I think I learned English like Paige, but I was learning a lot more during my college years, courtesy of sit-coms in the US. The BEST teachers were Three’s Company, Cheers, and definitely Perfect Strangers. Then I returned home to Thailand to start serious courses on balance sheets and cashflows working on project financing without using English at all, while making a bit of cash ;)… .

  26. Until I moved to Thailand, I thought Paige had a selfie problem… as in WOW too much. After living in Thailand for a few months, I realized EVERY woman in Thailand has a selfie “thing” so Paige is OK after all : )

  27. Really enjoyed this video, nice to get to know a little bit more about Paige. Going to try and make some quesadilla this afternoon. Thankyou Chuck and Paige.

  28. Itโ€™s not a good idea to comeback and expect to travel in the USA til Jan 2021. CV has created a nightmare for pretty much a way of life in the states.

  29. I suspect the concept of getting a man” in to do something around the house has developed from the concept that if the husband does it…IT WILL BE WRONG _ AS IT IS WRITTEN IN THE WIFE BIBLE. But the “man” is not as susceptible to the wife’s criticisms. Thereby maintaining a happy non combative household where the pair are perfectly happy with being seen by their friends as the one in charge.

  30. read the papers every day and the American government and politics are completely insane and crazy now.
yesterday I read California’s putting the bums and dope heads in free hotels and then buying them free dope and free whiskey man that is something completely insane. Now the governor of California wants American government to pay for it with money from all the other states that is so stupid.
It’s just not the same America in the fifties and sixties was duty honor country. Now it’s money and Cutthroat politics nothing else so I guess I will continue to live in Turkey for the rest of my life and just visit the states when the insanity is gone. I think this is my date for venting my frustration cheers Bill
