  1. Great video Rob. Just shows during these difficult times people can still come together and help each other out in a time of need. Take care of your sef.
    Mike . North Wales UK

  2. Good to see so many restaurant owners helping the unemployed across Thailand respect to them all I hope the Thai’s don’t forget about the business owners after this covid-19 is eradicated and support them afterwards. But on a happier note what a cool mask Rob 😉

  3. It would be great to see more of these ‘walking around Kamala’ videos (and not only in COVID-19 times. It makes a nice change from videos at the beach, home etc.

(i.e. Returning to your older style and exploring types of videos! Keep well anyway!)

    1. Yeah.. Hmm. Get ready for a long lock down (few months) where ever you are if it hasn’t got to you yet. W really have nothing else that can be done. Save your local health service.

  4. Hey, Rob happy new year. My name is carmelo I’m in chiang mia and I’m curious to know what’s the process to get PO Box? Have you ordered anything from the states if so how long did it take? One more question is there a place in Thailand that you can trust that’s similar to amazon? Thank you😷🤗

  5. Happy new year Rob.
Happening here in uk in some way with volunteers helping people less fortunate and offering key workers free stuff as well.
    Bad times around the world.
    Stay safe and stay well.

  6. How about the money u make out of this video plus a bit more u give to people handing out the food so they can help more needy thais at this moment of need

  7. Happy songkran Rob, this is great they are feeding the ppl free. A similar thing is happening in Melbourne where the Thai community are coming together to offer free food to those that have lost their jobs. My Sister in Law has a restaurant and has asked ppl to buy a meal for a needy Thai person. Best of luck and health to you Rob.

    1. Retired and Living the dream More than welcome mate, thanks for the info.. I will be popping over next time your on. Me and the family are looking to move over their full time when all this trouble is over! Life is short, it’s certainly made for working to live rather than living to work!

    2. Retired and Living the dream hiya mate, watched one of your vids the other day and subscribed 🙂 I was talking to my Mrs about living inland just short of where to catch the ferries over into the islands… was it koh samet your near by?

  8. HEY ROB, YOU’RE LOOKING GOOD. KINDA WEIRD NOT THROWING WATER ON EVERYONE. REALLY NICE TO SEE PEOPLE HELPING OTHERS LESS FORTUNATE. BEEN STUCK IN THE APARTMENT FOR MUCH OF MY TIME IN THAILAND SO FAR. CAN’T WAIT FOR ALL OF THIS TO BE OVER. I WANT TO TRY THAT PIZZA PLACE NEXT TIME I’M DOWN YOUR WAY. DON’T HAVE ANY IDEA WHEN THAT WILL BE, LOL BUT SOON I HOPE. TAKE CARE MY FRIEND AND BE SAFE.

  9. Hey Rob. Looks super hot there. Don’t forget to cover up to prevent skin cancer buddy. I always wear a cap on my shaved head. Great to see the generosity of food/drink being given away. That’s the true Thai spirit. Thanks for sharing and stay safe!

  10. Thanks for the vid Rob. So nice that they are giving away food but i see no social distancing and i ‘m afraid doing the free food this way will only cause even more problems. The mask and washing hands wont help. Keep safe Rob!

  11. A recent spoof video suggested that to help you visualise two metres it’s about 86 fingers of KitKat or slightly more than a “Gimme” in golf. So if it was a four ball and your pal said, “That’s a gimme” and you said, “Naw, putt it”, that’s about two metres!😄

  12. We are three weeks into lockdown rob and looks like we have been told very different things not to do for us no face masks but social distancing 3 meters apart and regular hand washing in warm soapy water i suppose time will tell whats been right or wrong take care Rob thanks for the update

  13. Happy songkran Rob, not sure why YouTube is being weird on the notifications for your channel. It’s been misspelling your last few video titles within the notifications. Always love your videos, and sucks that you can’t get out much.

  14. Thanks for the Songkran update. Not a great deal of Social distancing in those que lines for free food. Advice is 2 metres minimum but people are almost on top of each other.

  15. The people in Thailand are awesome! I can’t imagine restaurants in any other country giving away free food and people who happily form orderly lines to get the food. Just amazing.

That custom mask is extremely cool. Your friend did a great job on it.

    1. @Rick Lynn That is very cool. I haven’t seen any restaurants in my area giving out free food, but I am very happy to know that it is happening in some places. I can really imagine churches helping out as well. I suppose this is what I get for making comments after 48 hours with no sleep. 🙂

    2. In the U.S. it happens a lot in local communities. Several restaurants where I live are giving away free food right now and working with local city leadership to get the word out. Also, many of the churches feed the homeless and help out families in need. I imagine it’s happening all over the place in other countries as well.

  16. Happy Songkran, just crazy about all that is going on.. but it will pass in time and all will be good again. Thailand is as beautiful as ever. As if watching this doesn’t make me miss it enough, with the restrictions it makes me it even more, not being able to get back there. I can only imagine and wonder. That if I feel that way, so must many others. So when all the restrictions are lifted. The sudden flood of tourists is going to be crazy and good for everyone to make up for the losses now.

  17. I just left Thailand early last month to go back to America. This makes me miss it already. Hopefully things will be back to normal next Songkran. Cheers.

  18. 6:44 Hot weather is a blessing. Covid 19 doesn’t survive as long or spread as well in hot climates. Covid 19 doesn’t like bright sunshine or humidity either. Of Thailand had a climate similar to South Korea the number of infections and deaths would be much higher.

  19. I was supposed to have arrived by plane into Bangkok at 9:45 PM on April 14. But as you know that all got cancelled. I was a little apprehensive about the heat. I am in Michigan right now were it is about 30 degrees outside. Fricken cold! I have rebooked my trip to Thailand for November/December of this year. I sure how it works out.
