  1. Hello Paul and Jason. That was a good interview and thank you for sharing your personal trials and tribulations. Always remember โ€œBelieve that life is worth living and your belief will help you create the fact.โ€ By William James. God Bless

  2. That’s a very good word from my brother in Christ Jason, and a terrific interview and summation by the Old Dog. May God bless you both!

  3. Hello Paul and glad he found love again! Sometimes it takes another person to give you a push in life and to help you believe in yourself. As Jason was saying, the nurse who became a good friend and told him to go online and place an ad. Through his faith and prayers, she answered his ad and they connected!

  5. Life can beat you up. At some point for whatever reason you have to get up and try to make things better. Even that there are no guarantees for success. Having a good woman in your life will definitely make a difference. Sometimes prayers do get answered.

  6. Hi Jason good story.! I was just curious about how does SSDI work if you move abroad? I maybe looking at going out on a disability ( I’m 55 had a serous accident at work a few years back) and want to move the the phils on SSDI if i can get it… any helpful ideas would be greatly appreciated… As you know living here (in the USA) on SSDI is almost impossible unless you want to move into some kind of assisted living home and don’t want that at all i have a wonderful long term girlfriend who want me to move there 1 so we and gettogether and 2 so she can be my caregiver…
anyway love your videos Paul I know your a busy guy but here’s my email (willie9520@yahoo.com) if you want to respond privately or on this vlog is ok to. I think there maybe some other people with the same question.
    William stuck in Seattle

  7. God Bless you two gentlemen, God’s plan is the path that we all should always follow. Because without a path to follow you surely will find yourself lost in your life endeavors. Amen!!!

  8. Here is my recipe for long term survival in the Philippines. My education in living in the Philippines began before the cyber age. When I started it was sending and receiving photos by snail mail…the pen pal era.

I have bought and lost two beach front properties, 2 Hondaโ€™s, one pickup and 3 sail boats in southern Leyte…. dealt with hostile exโ€™s and exploitive family members and the Philippine legal community. I have been there and done that, and here is my take on what is required to live in the Philippines. I call it the 3 โ€œSโ€s for survival. First is , be a stoic…stoicism helps you keep your reputation in tact amongst the locals. ….. the second โ€œSโ€ is be a skeptic ….donโ€™t take anything at face value, there is always an edge waiting to wound the dumb foreigner….the third โ€œSโ€ is sarcasm…being sarcastic will help you keep your sense of good humor… a view from a ex, expat. 9. Hi Paul and internet.. Any lady expats in the Philippines? I am sure it’s mostly dudes but the lifestyle appeals to me for later in life..

  10. An inspiring interview. Maybe a part 2 – could be with an interview with Maria – her perspective as an OFW – or interview the 2 of them together. Thank you Paul and Happy Birthday Jason.

  11. Great video Paul. Just proves the point that if you never try, the answer will always be no. Good for Jason…All the best to him in the future!

  12. Another Great Video !!! Interesting person and a great story. I also enjoyed the Grateful Dead Tattoo on his arm – lol. He talked about being afraid of taking a chance and how things worked out after he decided to go for it. People do not realize how our fears hold us back from so many things. Nothing Wonderful comes from Fear. Great Lesson there. I did miss seeing the chicken –

  13. This just proves that real love exists. I wish Jason, his wife and kids all the best. I’m beginning to slowly understand that the power of prayer and determination can move mountains. I think the fear of being let down and getting your heart broken is why so many people don’t break out of their shell and take a chance on life. The way Jason explained this, made so much sense to me. This interview really struck a chord. Keep up the awesome work, Paul.

  14. So refreshing to listen to Jason’s story. Not surprising it was a “Filipina” who came into his life at a time he need it most. โ™ฅ๏ธ๐ŸŽธ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ

  15. God does everything even our taking of chances. All we need is faith on the mighty power that everything is for our own good whether we fail or not. In other words, there’s a reason for everything good or bad.

  16. Paul Iโ€™m 48 years old I could see me and you ever met we would be good friends maybe some day I can have a cup of coffee and a beer you are living the dream.๐Ÿ˜Ž๐Ÿ˜Ž๐Ÿ˜Ž๐Ÿ˜Ž๐Ÿบ

  17. My relationship is based on trust faith in God like Jason . God has blessed me she was drop in my lap 13 months texting facebook webcam before first trip LDR meet her family on webcam. Love require some money in a poor country Filipina often quit their jobs when a provider come along (allowance) routine 4 months in Philippines 2018 -2019 before Covd 19 she 32 know. i wish i could fly her to America on a tourist visa 90 day fiance visa is only way with immigration I am content with splitting time for know we have no choice virus. i have invested 12.000$ a small house in her province expat say never do that she worth the risk she will always have that place to go to yet her mother lives there know a vacation house to us. There no evidence she has bad intent none.worse case i would lose that money married or not which won’t break the bank Happy birthday Jason what a expiring story.

  18. Just yesterday I was looking to see if there were many friends of Bill W. in the Philippines and it sounds like there are. Thanks for the great video.

  19. Great video (Pastor) Paul =)
Although me and my late wife did not meet on a dating site, we spent for the months talking to each other through messenger. She was a OFW care giver in Taiwan and I was here in America.
Like Jason, we prayed and God worked out the details for our meeting in person and the wonderful things that blossomed after that.

Thank you for sharing videos from the “darkened” corners of society …Jason’s story and those like his need to be told to inspire.

  20. Dare I make a suggestion without being labeled as a hater??
Look into eliminating carbohydrates completely. They discovered in 1921 that they could control epilepsy by eliminating carbs. Since then they have proven the same with Dementia and Alzheimer’s, now known as diabetes 3 (as well as diabetes 2). Not easy in the Philippines when they eat rice with every meal but worth a try! Great story and all the best!

  21. I want to meet Jason when I get to the Philippines. In Fathers name I will make it next year! His story is so similar to mine, only my issue’s started at 14 months old and a lifetime of fighting, yet still managed a career before the accident in 2013. I can walk again, just not too far. But I am looking at a 100% recovery and so is Jason. There are new technologies both in treatments and cures that have hit the market and will turn both of our life’s around. It’s a second chance. I just need Father to help me fix my house and send me the supplies! Then I will have the funds for the cure and Philippines. I spent over 20 years of my life alone in a sick bed with no contact to anyone but my mom who left me meals and left me with a tv after the first few years. I’m only a couple years older then Jason and have been alone since 2013 except I had to move my mom in at 86 years old for end of life back in 2015. We don’t exactly get along well and her dementia is taking me backwards but forward I am fighting! I could use prayers please. Life time of fighting and I am almost dead at the finish line but I’m dragging myself to the end! I will beat this!

  22. WoW a very touching story…Mr. Paul this is one of the reasons i love your channel…it is so diverse with all sources of life stories…thank you for your hard work end effort to keep bringing great videos…๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘blessings to all and also Thanks to Jason for sharing his story with us…โค๏ธit

  23. Hi Paul, Jason has a very inspiring story of his life with the ups and downs but apparently he never lost hope in his Lord and the Lord bless him. Like Jason said we have to take chances and go for it

  24. Great Interview. Ne GF and I are both Christians and believe the Lord put us together also. We met on messenger when I was going through a rough time too, Not physical but a dark time. We are both happier then we have ever been in our lives. I wasn’t looking for a GF when I met her & I had never met a Filipina anywhere before her. I get a lot of bunk because we totally trust each other. Well, I do & if others chose to believe you can’t trust any Filipina I could care less. God Bless.

  25. I agree you should be proud of your new faith im glad life has dealt you a good hand my friend God Bless, nice one Old Dog another great interview, Hail the Chicken lol !!!

  26. Thanks for the video Paul..
Happy birthday Jason ๐ŸŽ‚๐ŸŽ‰๐ŸŽˆ..thanks to both of you for giving me and everyone else encouragement..thanks๐Ÿ‘Œ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿค—

  27. Paul, I am glad that you are taking your time with marriage. However, yeah you have a good chance to be as young as your Dad…you have a great hobby in vlogging! You treat your guests with respect… something that I don’t think I will see in the Presidential debates! Happy birthday ๐ŸŽ‚ Jason!

  28. All things make beautiful in His (God) time God is good brother Jason.. ..God loves us all life is precious its a gift from God ..so we must take good care
.Happy birthday more birthdays and blessings to come!..๐Ÿ™

  29. Ha! Another SF Bay Area Musician? I played every club/music venue in NorCal throughout 80’s & 90’s. I’m 10 years older but, I’m guessing we probably crossed paths one way or the other… Great story/interview. I play Bass and sing well (especially harmonies) & I wanna Jam with Jason when I come over there. ๐Ÿ˜‰ Happy Birthday Buddy.

  30. Great interview of a very inspiring story!!! Keep up the good work Paul and my very best wishes to Jason and Maria in their all future endeavors!!!

  31. Wow Paul, what a good story, he sure has gone through hell and now in heaven so to speak, such a strong Christian who has been blessed with a chance at a new life !

As a born again believer I can tell you that God is real He also has a sense of humour. All this can be found if you take the time to get to know Him . It’s all about relationship my friend as Jason him self found out.๐Ÿ‡ฌ๐Ÿ‡ง๐Ÿ‡จ๐Ÿ‡ฟ
