  1. Paul,
I’ve been watching your channel for a long time and always thought your interviews were the best. I have to tell you I was touched by this interview more than any other. The tears welled up in my eyes when I listened to Jason sing the song for his sister. I had to go back to watch your first interview with Jason, then go back and listen twice more to hear Jason sing his song.
Your own story, and that of Jason and others you have interviewed, really resonates with me. Everyone has a story but those who have had to really struggle to overcome obstacles in their life, didn’t give up and remain honest decent human beings have the best stories. These are the stories that touch my soul and give me faith in humanity. I hope if I get a chance to meet you we can sit down a share a cup of coffee.
    Thank you, Tim

  2. You’re the best Paul! It would be cool to set Jason up with a Youtube Channel where those of us who have fiancees and girlfriends in the Philippines could Pay for a song sung for our girl. He could sing and we could give them the url so they could hear it. Maybe it could be a once a month deal especially for those of us who are working on fiancee visa’s that are held up because of Covid. I know a lot of relationships are falling by the wayside because travel restrictions reduce the intimacy and some are losing that connection. I suspect he would get a following of people who would listen even when it isn’t their day for a song to be sung. Just a thought.

  3. Hey Paul, Hey Jason.. I love music and guitar so the intro was awesome.. Jason is way cool. i dig him..Im born and raised in BayArea also, I would love to chat with him and listen to his music this coming trip to Duma ,next year of course…take care guys be safe and happy, God Bless

  4. Paul perhaps you can do a live stream with Jason he can play songs, people can request songs, put the tip jar out and donate. Just give us a time and date.
If I had a girlfriend in the Philippines I would have Jason serenade her.
It’s my opinion that Philippinas would like that since is a Spanish custom.
    Ask Baby Mae her opinion.

  7. Paul, you are a very good person. I love your videos and especially loved this one. I am considering retiring in Phils in the next 3-5 years. I can only hope and pray that if/when I do, that I meet people like you. I have to say that I respect the hell out of Jason for his attitude and determination with what he’s been through and continues to go through. It warms my heart to see Jason and to know that he has friends like you. Rock on Jason!

  8. Hi Paul, good video. Hats off to Jason. That would be a great gig for him making personalized music related videos for love lorn foreigners or providing special background love songs. He would not even need to be in the video, just provide the music. Haaaa anyway please stop putting Baby Mae’s pictures on your videos! I know she will not be in the video, but I can’t keep myself from looking! I don’t want to ogle someone elses Filipina, I have my own! 🙂 Wish you and Baby Mae the best…. Jason is a lucky man, he is happy! God bless

  10. Paul, I enjoy your channel, especially during these times. It’s refreshing to listen to down hill common sense wisdom. Today’s guest really puts life and what’s important into perspective. Thanks

  12. Hey, if he’s happy there and it’s helped him good for him. Let’s face the unfortunate facts $800 per month he’d be living in his car back in the US. Good Luck to him.

  13. I think it’s really sad that his father is dying of cancer and he doesn’t have the means to travel back to the US to see him again. But I am happy that he has found true love and true happiness in the Philippines, and that is PRICELESS!!!

  14. Great video when I get back after the covid I am marry my fiancé I ll hire him to play at my reception God Bless
