  1. Jim Loughlin Joe, been following your adventure just about from the start. I never make comments (this is only my second one on Youtube). Being a retired MSG from the Army with two tours in Thailand (1970 & 1975) and being married to a Thai woman for the last 48 years I truly enjoy your videos. We have not been back to Thailand since 1980 when I was stationed in Okawana. I’m reliving Thailand vicariously through you and Gift. Take care, be safe and enjoy your retirement; a fellow brother in arms.

  3. Beautiful country north of Chiang Mai, Pai itself was a bit crowded but 5 minutes away you are out of the traffic and can find some very relaxing roadside views and local farmers selling their produce. Did you guys make it to the Chinese village (sorry I canโ€™t remember the name)? I enjoyed it and some great oolong tea. Thanks for sharing, many blessings to you, Gift and family ๐Ÿ™
    Cheers ๐Ÿป

    1. We didnโ€™t make it to the Chinese village but we did visit the canyons and hot springs my friend. Many blessings to you and your family as well. All the best!

  4. What a super nice place and super nice company. Weather looks like itโ€™s still awesome up there just like when I was in Chiang Mai in early Dec โ€˜19.

  5. HEY JOE AND GIFT AND YOUR FRIENDS, SORRY I’M NOT TOO GOOD REMEMBERING NAMES. LOL ONE OF MY FAVORITE THINGS WHEN WATCHING VIDEOS OF TRAVELING AROUND THAILAND IS THE VIDEO OF THE COUNTRY SIDE. THAT WAS A LITTLE TOO FAST FOR ME. LOL THE ROOM IS VERY NICE AND THE GARDENS ARE BEAUTIFUL. I WILL HAVE TO KEEP THAT PLACE IN MIND WHEN I GO UP THAT WAY. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THE BALCONY. IT IS SO SPACIOUS, I COULD FALL ASLEEP SITTING THERE WATCHING THE RIVER. LOOKING FORWARD TO SEEING THE REST OF THE GARDENS.

  6. Beautiful drive and wow, what a great spot to stay during your time there!! Nice find. If Paul and I DO move to Thailand, we will do a ride there. We understand itโ€™s a great loop to continue on past Pai and up and back around to the road back to Chiang Mai. Can take you time and even spend a night here and there as you ride along. Iโ€™ve seen a great video from a guy who did it and loved it. Enjoy your time there. Love from Paul and I. โค๏ธ

  9. I enjoy watching your videos so if the video was just you and Gift sitting there talking to each other It wouldnt make a difference.I will still give it a thumbs up and write a nice comment. all the other stuff is extra and very nice.Thank You. for sharing

  10. Did you visit the temple Doi Suthep? it’ a must when in Chiang Mai, i used yo live there for 4 years, went back home (Sweden) for three years, came back to live in Bangkok for 2 years, then moved to Pathum Thani for the last 6 years. Moving back to Bangkok soon.

    1. Not this time my friend. We did however visit a new temple that is being built in Tak Thailand ๐Ÿ‡น๐Ÿ‡ญ and will be releasing that video in about a week or so once edited. Thank you ๐Ÿ™ for watching. All the best!

I enjoy your detailed view on flowers and landscape .

  12. Joe, I’m a 72 year old disabled Vietnam Vet. I recently found you on You Tube and I have subscribed and liked . You have a habit of saying “Yeh”, at the end of sentences and after a while it gets on my nerves. Like I said I like your videos but like today I didn’t watch any of them because I had to have a break from “yeh”. That’s the only negative I have to say and I know I can take a flying leap, “yeh”. I was in the 56th Air Commando Wing at NKP in 67-69. I feel in love with the country and people.

    1. Thank you for your Service brother. My Uncle Joe served in Vietnam 67-68 where he was injured as well. I served 79-82 in Germany. Sorry about my bad habit, Iโ€™ll try to correct that. All the best!

  13. Good video joe. It’s normal for resorts like that to have hard beds lol. The bungalows look like home stay units to get the feel of Thailand ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘

  14. Hi Joe! Great video again! Remember to take the criticism in stride. I like your style, that’s why I always check out your videos. They are always interesting and informative. Take it easy!

  15. Hi Joe, I’m about to buy a drone myself but been warned about the legal restrictions here in Thailand. Do you know where I can find some decent information? Cheers

    1. Here you go my friend, this is the company I used in Pattaya for my CAAT License, NBTC Registration and Insurance total price 4,500 baht. L.T.S. 225/-482 Moo.10 South Pattaya Rd. Nongprueh, Banglamung, Chonburi 20150.
      All the best!

    1. Not rally, just donโ€™t touch anyone, wear a good face mask ๐Ÿ˜ท and wash your hands and use hand sanitizer as much as possible. Honestly, there arenโ€™t many Chinese here right now my friend, due to flight โœˆ๏ธ restrictions. All the best!

  16. Longer videos please Joe :p btw I have changed my name from Lee to TruEGenT for unanimity, I just wanted you to know that Lee hasn’t left your channel ๐Ÿ™‚ I’m still following and enjoying very much the videos and music and drone footage. My Thai wife is going to subscribe to you too.

    1. Hi Bryan, Honestly, I don’t know my friend. I personally haven’t seen balconies this large in Bangkok other than in penthouse condos. All the best!
