Omg I’m late

Thank you Chris
Thanks for watching Johpres π
Thank you for showing us this Chris!
Thanks for checking out the video Alenton π
@Chris…That Capitol Building is officially called Cebu Provincial Capitol Building (not Cebu City Capitol) because it is the seat of the provincial government of Cebu (not the city government). In fact, it’s an enclave or a territory of Cebu province. All the people working in this enclave are not governed by city government but by provincial government. It is where Cebu Governor Gwen Garcia and her provincial board (similar to city council) take office. The Cebu City Hall next to Magellan’s Cross is where the Cebu City mayor takes office.
Yeah it’s Cebu Provincial Capitol for Cebu province
Nice tour of Cebu. Iβm hoping to retire there from NY within the next year or 2. Hoping to invest in a condo in the IT Park area. Please do more videos like this one exploring other areas as well. Thanks
Hi mate very quite on the Roads in Cebu stay safe also girls
Is the gov. Giving food aid to the citizens?
Probably oban nahatagan ang oban wala pa ingon sa kadaghan s population maapod b gyud sa governo? Nahhh dili oy ky kadaghan pd nga sa osa k bobong nagtipon ang ginikanan mga anak minyo apo inlaws
They are giving them nothing and if they do it will be miniscule. There was already a demonstration in manila. People are hungry and their money is running out or will run out. A priest in manila set up a soup kitchen to feed some of the homeless and the no good police up there shut him down saying the people were standing too close to each other which wasn’t true so they didn’t get fed. there are no Provisions being made to feed any of the people by the government and are any of you really surprised? do you think those government people have any compassion for their own people because they don’t. Duterte just stated today or yesterday I don’t remember which, that a police can shoot to kill people that are disobeying the curfew or if the police feel threatened and you all know what that means! I’m sure if you’re familiar with the way things are over there this is a disgrace. all these people who have no food especially the children is inexcusable. By the way this pandemic is playing right into the hands of duterte and you’ll see him declare martial law and his Chinese Masters are going to back him up 100% there will be no elections when his term is up wait and see!
They are supposed to but I’m not sure how that’s coming along at this point.
@Chris….Why so many passes? I thought only one pass per household? That’s what we have here in Lapu-Lapu City. So Cebu City has a different policy? Here in Lapu-Lapu City, only one person is allowed to go out of the house to do some errands the whole time and that person whose name appears on the pass.
@Chris in Cebu I see. Thanks Chris.
Those were for the employees of my friend’s company, I was helping distribute them.
reminds me of an apocalyptic movie. Thanks and stay safe Chris.
Thanks for watching Neil π
mingaw ang music oi.
Do you think the gov in Cebu is over reacting?
@Terry Foss better to be overreacting than sorry after all,
And bro this is serious issue. that whole world is facing right now ,
Come on.wake up bro
It’s not overreacting we’re just preparing
I guess what I’m getting at is the gov there is inept and very wishy washy. I have a home there and I can’t even get back and who knows when…I’m in China waiting for things to get better. Hope I can return this summer.
Look how most of European countries and the US are doing now for not over reacting. The speed at which they amass cases and death toll everyday is faster than you can pronounce the virus.
I don’t think they are overreacting, trying to keep people at home and out of big crowds will only help with the current situation.
Very enjoyable. Thanks, Chris. Hope you and your family are safe and well.
Thanks Louis, glad you enjoyed the vid. Stay safe man.
I miss Cebu… I’m a Cebuano watching from Vietnam
I miss cebe.I was a student in Cebu, however,I must go back to Taiwan due to wuhan virus. Please post more videos about Cebu city.
It’s good you got out when you had the chance Anthony, it’s better than being stuck here and not being able to leave. Hopefully you’ll be able to come back soon. Thanks for watching π
Great video! Thank you for posting
Thanks for watching Philip π
Well. Scary. But THIS IS what a quarantine lockdown is supposed to look like.
Stay safe everyone. *Take time to pray and read/pray Psalm 91 and 51.*πβπ
Yeah, the fewer people out these days the better. Thanks for watching Len, stay safe.
Thankyou Chris, a good look around the deserted streets of our beloved Cebu from afar here in New Zealand. Great easy listening music accompanying your drive around. God bless all Cebuano’s including the many expat residents there from the many countries
around the world. From locked down New Zealand, where even if you just clear your throat, people look suspiciously at you, LOL.
Glad you enjoyed the vid Bob. Take care and stay safe.
Hi Chris , whats the music please?
Here ya go: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5mgYnwhM4eg&t
This music reminds me when I’m boarding a plane to cebu…
Am here for the background muzique. So relaxing. Thanks, Chris. Good job as always. It’s hard to believe that you’re still filming with your old Sony Experia phone. With that assortment of EQ passes you cannot but be safe. I envy you.
Thanks for watching Tony. Those EQ passes weren’t all mine, I was just helping a friend distribute them.
This is the most soothing view of Cebu Iβve had in a long time. Reminds of my childhood days in the 80s
Hi Chris, excellent video and music. This reminds me so much of my time there and the walks I took along these very streets and areas. Really nice memories
I just sent you 20 bucks on PayPal. Hang in there man!
I’ve been through Liloan a few times, it’s a nice area. Thanks again.
@Chris in Cebu my wife’s family is in Liloan just north of Cebu, we own a house there but we are in the States… glad to help
Once again I got the Paypal James. Thank you very much π
I got it James, also saw you signed up on Patreon, thanks a lot. Take care and stay safe π
This shit will be over in 4 weeks. Alot of countries will follow what the USA does with the CDC does next!!!!!
@King New Jersey If that’s how you assess the situation in your country, then explain to me why cases in the USA rises faster and faster everyday, now at 189,500. As of this writing, it has already surpassed China in the number of death toll with over 4,000 deaths already as against China’s 3,300. If there is a single or two countries other countries in the world should learn from in fighting against the virus are China and South Korea. These two countries are the ones who got the first cases but look, they managed to contain it remarkably and able to stem down the number of cases and keep the death toll low.
@lionhearted1969 You will see in 4 weeks what I mean…..
β@King New Jersey That’s wishful thinking. Other countries will follow and learn from US? Really? What significant thing did the US do in its fight against the virus? Don’t you know that your country right now has logged the fastest rate of Covid cases in the world on a daily basis now reaching 188,000, twice as many as China’s 81,000 as of this writing? Its death toll is also growing by the hundreds daily and it will soon surpass China as well. The USA is already the epicenter of the Covid-19 with more cases than any other country. It has long overtaken China, Spain and Italy for the number of cases. It has surpassed Iran and China yesterday for the number of deaths as well and is poised to overtake Spain and Italy in a few days. Please explain why other countries will follow US?:-)
@Chris in Cebu Na I think a lot of countries will follow the CDC and the US. Remember Trump wanted to open up on Easter Sunday and I his CDC staff said “NO way” We have have give 30 days. The virus rate will go down by the 15th. The CDC just has to control the peak of this and then down curve and they started to using that Curnine vaccine. 97% effective in case studies…
I hope it’s over in 4 weeks King. I think it will last at least 3 or 4 months but I guess we’ll just have to wait and see. Take care man.
Chris, can you tell us if condo prices dropped in cebu, due to virus crisis?
That’s not possible to know for sure because property is not an essential business to be allowed to operate in this quarantine period. Thus, there’s no office for all real estate agent and property developers. That being said, the property developers have no point adjusting the price right now because there’s nobody to sell to because it’s not possible to meet with the clients to do the transaction as they don’t have office. All hotels and other types of accommodations right now are barred from getting new bookings until further notice.
Are you driving or are you on a bike?
I’m in a car, my wife is driving.
CEBU IS THE NEW SINGAPORE OF ASIA!
