So I think freezers for food is definitely out the door..
Good info
We missed you on Paul’s live stream Gio. I am glad to hear that you will be back on….
I’ve experienced a high end condo in Davao I’ve rented through AirBnb that didn’t have WiFi. It was the longest 2 weeks of my life.
I have been living in Vung Tau, Vietnam for about two years. Like it here except for the language problem. I’ve also lived in Siem Reap, Cambodia and Penang, Malaysia. Can’t afford the retirement visa in Malaysia. Never considered Thailand because the retirement visa is too expensive and too much red tape. I’ve avoided the Philippines because I know the poor infrastructure would eventually drive me away. If you didn’t have your upcoming job in KL, where would you live?
I thought that if electricity when out during daylight hours , it was called a ” brown out ” . And if it went out during the night , a black out .
thanks for sharing the good information that people need to know when they’re living there. I’ve experienced it being there. Your spot on of your information. Thanks for sharing again
Gio,
Don’t blame it on my family!
Nice video Gio I am in Davao trying to help the Filipinos do you know anyone that is looking to work from home during the lock down ? We are looking for brand partners $0 to get started and and start earning income… let’s connect. Thanks and stay safe. – Steve
Power Inverter!
Thats why I moved from Duma!
great video as always Gio…missed you on Paul’s live stream yesterday. You have must have lots of patience.
Your live streams you just reply to viewers and you don’t have time to talk freely
Thanks for the honest appraisal Gio forewarned is forearmed. It’s a whole different thing, living there to just visiting. I love my long vacations there, but I don’t think I could live there full time. I love the great people, beautiful girls, beaches and nature, but you need to be prepared to accept the negatives that go with all of that if you’re going to live there. Thanks as always for sharing your thoughts and experiences.
What is the ***cause*** of the brown outs?
Yes CDO is ‘da man’ when it comes to elec and internet stability.
Bohol, never had a prob.
Angeles, never had a prob.
Cebu, never had a prob.
Dumaguete was hopeless.
It’s also increadibly difficult to make a simple phone call. And infrastructure is very dangerous or non existent.
just get solar power
No brown outs here Florida
What do you expect from a 3rd world country? The Philippines is historically a Third World country and currently a developing country.
