  1. I don’t see any rebars. The blocks does not look like “Adobe”. Old spanish churches are constructed using adobe and they are at most 12′ thick or wide. Not just a church but also a fortress.

Yet it is unfortunate. But no matter the Vatican is super rich. Thanks for the video and info.

  2. Several websites mentioned this one was built during the Byzantine period. Googling that might tell the sort of construction methods were in place during that time in history.

  3. Yah, as I mentioned.. my first visit to Boho this was one place I came to see my very first day here, back in December. The inside is really nice too with the renovations.

  4. The churches in Miagao, Iloilo (ME-YAG-AO)1797. A UNESCO World Heritage Site. Its so thick and has dual purpose. A fortress. And Guimbal, Iloilo(GHEEM-BAL)1777. Not as great as Miagao but structurely sound. The early catholic churches is the only link to the Philippines history and culture. And so are the churches in Bohol. We don’t have pyramids like Egypt, palenkes of Mexico or machu picchu of Pero.

  5. I just came back from there a few days ago and looks like they are still renovating the front end of the church. Very lovely church, feels like your walking thru history when inside. Weird how the well is in front of the altar too.
