  1. It’s not all it’s cracked up to nothing sells. There’s nothing there in alcoy. No decent restaurants very little shopping you’d be bored as hell. I owned a house in next town in delaguete couldn’t wait to sell it.

  2. My advice is always rent keeping your options open you can live on the beach and you can also walk away hold on to your money every time and you can’t even buy a house in your own name in the Philippines so that’s a non-starter

  3. How can I conduct a similar search? what search engine do you use? I have been able to find only DotProperty and Lamudi but I cannot select beach front property as an option? Thanks

  4. Pete, going off on Boyd’s comment about maple leafs … a good side business for you might be to buy PM’s through private sales and ship to a better market for conversion to cash..

  5. I am loving this series of available properties across the philippines. We are trying to figure out where we want to settle. I am liking the Tagaytay Highlands area, but the Taal scares me a bit.
