in this video I bring you back to Bangkok and take a look around Sukhumvit Phrom Phong and Asok area. I also show you the hotel that Gift and I stayed at, for just under $32.00 USD a night breakfast included. Thank you for watching. Follow me on Instagram at joegreenwtf.

HEY–Its Past your bedtime !! 555 Have a Nice trip Randy+ Boom ! Terminal 21 in Korat is quite the place, Once you spend a week in BKK you learn how to get around pretty good ,, Study the Maps first guys , I still owe you for teaching us how to use the BTS -! Beats a taxi for sure !!
Some of my friends called Bangkok the world’s largest parking lot because the traffic did not move 🙂
Someone working late at night!!!
Very good price😊😊.What is the hotel name?
Did you say “I have to walk on the sidewalk so poor people can eat??
I’m in California can’t to go back to Thailand, great video Joe say hello to Gift, thanks
Thai try to do well, they copy everything but not great, love it or go home, nice video Joe 👍
HEY JOE AND GIFT, NICE ROOM, VERY REASONABLE. I HEAR YOU ON THE TRAFFIC. I’VE ONLY BEEN HERE FOR A SHORT TIME AND I HATE THE TRAFFIC. I THOUGHT KORAT WAS BAD BUT IT’S NOTHING COMPARED TO THE TRAFFIC IN BANGKOK. I SPENT THE WHOLE DAY JUST GOING TO THE BANK.
I’M LOCKED IN TO THE CONDO FOR ONE YEAR BUT I THINK I WANNA GET A MORE RULE SETTING NEXT YEAR.
I would never miss Bangkok, I hate going to Bangkok.
Welcome to Bangkok.
Not bad for the third world country. Have to thanks to the USA and the Japan for investment.
Can’t wait to visit next year, scout out some potential areas. Take care.
Nice Video. Keep up the good work. Take Care.
Great price. Clean neat and modern.perfect!! Nice find!! And OHHH do i miss Thai food!!
lots of Japanese food in that area of BKK
City planning. Who knew?
Nice hotel, good value too! Thx for the tour guys
Hi Joe and Gift. Thanks for the hotel information. Have a good road trip. Leaving Bangkok traffic will be first step before enjoying the rest of the road, up north 🙂
Hi Gift and Bro Joe , have fun , great video , peace ☮️
Enjoy your trip yaa
Nice one joe What did you film with Joe if you could tell me please Good to see both of you on the move again take care lots of love
Vely Guud 👍
Like your videos Joe, I am a new subscriber Got to know you through Chuck & Paige videos
Hi Joe and Gift hope you are both well, thanks for the video, the hotel looked quite nice,in fact Bangkok has many very good hotels at fantastic rates. So nice for Gift to visit her family with Lockdown being eased. Hope your hospital trip went OK. Have to say the streets (particularly the pavements) of Bangkok are a disgrace and driving is not much better! How elderly and disabled cope is not considered. I don’t miss the traffic or pollution,Prachuap is the polar opposite. Hope you guys have a safe trip, look forward to further videos, keep well.
Good afternoon from Manitoba Canada, I have noticed on your postings that you mention “hot” water shower in the rooms you stay at. Is hot water not in every hotel? Thank you for the channel I really enjoy your “everyday” life recordings you post.
Joe, did you see they tie the doors on buses so they don’t have to open and close all the time? That’s Bangkok.
Did I hear you’re going to Kampean Phet. Stop by Toon and Leigh farm.
I hear phuket has 50% discounts on luxuary hotels…
Very nice hotel for the price ! 😎🙌
HAHA, The Hotel is decent brother. My daughter and I have a joke that basically every hotel we stay in is about “$35”. This one fits it perfectly. Not sure if your only negative would bother anyone since most people would never drive in thailand let alone BKK. Keep up the great work, we are living our Thai life through videos from you till this mess is cleared up.
HAHA, I don’t mind having to walk in the street because I love the BKK street food culture. When I hate it is when my wifes walking with me or my kids. The walkways in the rain can be challenging. Being a 20 year speedskater, Its a inside joke everytime you almost fall and don’t because well you can guess, in SS you almost fall all the time or what seems like all the time skating almost every day for 20 years. Now as a fat ass normal human… so yeah, have never actually had my butt on the ground but more than once, one hand touched it. The worst was scraping my pinky and drawing blood on a rough faced wall trying to catch myself…… lol, poor me. Have you ever seen Thai tile setters laying down those walkways? Some are very custom depending on who owns the building next to the street.
HAHA, you mentioned it would be hard for a wheelchair, especially when a motorbike taxi was on the sidewalk coming straight at you.
In all my time visiting the land of smiles I never lived there. We love getting breakfast at hotels in BKK. If im there I use Hilton miles and stay at the conrad. Its awesome but to be honest, while the variety is less in a $35 thai hotel, its just as good usually. Go to Kanchanaburi. (Not sure if you have a video on that) Just 2 hours away. Nevermind, just saw you have a vid. Love the 7 waterfalls, been there a few times.
James Abroad stayed at the same hotel a few weeks ago. The pool looks fantastic. Enjoy.
Whats the name of the Hotel?
the food there at the close in the hotel looked incredibly good.
Nice one Joe , Khamphangphet was where my wife went to uni ,, know it well , I expect you will go to Sukkhothai while your there ?
Moped all most got you in the crosswalk.
Hi..nice to see you both.nice hotel will definitely try it when I’m next in bkk..looking to see more of your travels..thank you for sharing..
Have fun guys!
Joe, was that a child laying there on the sidewalk? is that common and do you find out if the child was OK?
another great video thanks🙏🙏
Soundtrack loved
Hey Joe, any news on when people will be allowed back into Thailand? Specifically Americans. Looking like August maybe. Have a flight booked for August 4th. Worried I may have to push the date back.
Wow never known about the new Public transportation building we’ll be using it. Nice hotel. Nice area I’ve been in that area
Welcome back to the concrete jungle.
Nice video Joe, and it’s nice to see you back in BKK! I’m going to have to file this hotel away for future reference, very nice (especially for the money). I can also recommend “Dream Hotel” on soi 15. Not quite as inexpensive but I guess that’s because it’s a bit more centrally located. It’s still very reasonably priced. It’s been a while since I’ve posted to you so you probably don’t remember me. I was supposed to meet up with you twice in the past but it always fell through. I’ll be retired in 8 months. Gonna get my O-A and I’ll be Bangkok bound. I’ll be buying you a beer soon enough I hope. Be well.
Very cool…..I remember when I first started going to Bangkok I would always book a room at the well known hotel chains and pay $200-$400 night…not anymore!!!!!!
I do like Bangkok Joe. Always something to do there! Thank you. 👍
I watch you and Chuck all the time. I’m going to visit as soon as I can. Hopefully by October things will get better idk
Great vlog again Joe, jesus i cant stand that Bangkok, every time I go I hate it even more, maybe I had a bad experience with the gestapo once, and that haunts me every time I go there, ( the fckrs stung me for throwing a butt on the street, fair enough, but i tried to find somewhere to put it out, I felt as if they were watching and waiting so that they could sting a farang for pocket money) 🤢
You guys going to kamphaeng phet. Thats where my relatives lives.
Sensory overload in Bangkok. Nice hotel and buffet breakfast. Stay safe
hi joe and gift..wow it 1ook very much 1ike bkk is s1ow1y getting back to norma1ity ..anyways have a nice day and safe trave1 to next desination, sure miss bkk a1ready..great v1og as a1ways..
Oh man i miss my city although i returned just in January from Krungthep Mahanakon. Terminal 21 is indeed a crazy shopping center. From there it’s not to far away to my crip ( Ratchada Soi 3 ). The air is a mess i know.
When i came to Bangkok for the very first time i slept one night in the Westin Grande Shukumvit. Great place. Very clean. Luxury cool room for around 100 €. I love it.
Oustanding vlog my big brother. Love the walk in the rain. The Quarter is a nice hotel to stay for sure. Peace and love, TTT
Thanks Joe… hey, my experience with parking next to the pole… you gotta hug the white line on the passenger side, not too much, so Gift won’t bang the door against the car when she gets out. And you know they’re notorious for double parking and they leave the cars in neutral so you can roll them out of the way…. but you knew that. Be safe in the next leg.!!! :-))
Hello Joe n Gift …very nice video n hotel. I love massaman and even had a plate last night. Cannot wait to see the temples in Chaing Rai. Stay safe 🙏
That’s an excellent price, the cheapest rate @ the place I usually stay at is about $55.00/night.
So many good things in Thailand. But a few negatives: The sausage. Come on now, it’s a freakin hot dog. Flies. . .everywhere. . .lots and lots. They love Farangs. And a big one here. . .The damn food napkins. I go thru about 43 for one meal they’re so thin. Did I mention so many good things about Thailand?😂
Great start to the adventure take care y
The hotel review with just the music was excellent, all we needed to know and relaxing. The audio going out was serendipitous.
hi joe pretty good deal on the hotel ,i,ll keep it in mind for when i,m back in bangkok 🙏👍🙂
Welcome to Phrom Phong area where I grew up since 1975. My MOM lives on Soi 39 close to this hotel on Soi 31. Since you are already in Phra Khanong District of Bangkok it is nice to visit and pay respect to “Mae Nak of Phra Khanong” at Wat Maha But, On Nut, Sukhumvit Soi 77. Our family did it in 1975 when we moved to Sukhumvit Soi 39 from Udon Thani. I take all my American and Indian friends to Wat Maha But when in Phra Khanong District.
Bangkok is great to visit, not sure if I could there, much better out of town. Enjoy your trip.
Like the hotel…
Hast du dein apptm. Nicht mehr in bkk
Good hotel, modern with a good selection for bkfast.
Wow look how empty it is in Bangkok, stay safe,
Nice hotel for the money I remember staying in some really bad hotels the first time I stayed in Bangkok in 2007 but once you get to know the city better you can find some nice hotels and get a good deal
