  1. Youtube is such a fantastic tool that everybody can use. Kev In Thailand is a great example of how he turned his time into doing something he loved. He loved to create videos and share them with the world but also build a community. Do good anway! Nice Rob, very nice!

  2. Kevin was a great guy. One of the nicest people I had ever met. He helped me out a lot when I needed it and never asked for a thing. I spent at least an hour today crying. I don’t normally cry but Keven was such a good guy. I know he got a lot of trolls on his channel but they never had the chance to hang out with Kev. My life is richer for knowing him.

  3. Thank you Rob. Why don’t we all have have a toast with love and remembrance to our good friend Kev. Good we can always check in on his channel when we need a smiling face, a warm heart and to drop a few words of appreciation.
When the world opens up again Kev, is the first I’m offering toast up to.

  4. Thanks for the Vlogs over the Years Kev RIP ……Where not immortal , Any of us it`s always someone else who dies .. Hope everybody lives a Beautiful , Loving , Life .

  5. Thank you so much for being such a good friend to Kev and shielding him from the thousands of questions. You were a faithful mate in his hardest journey. Says a lot about your character mate.
    RIP KEV.

  6. A very informative YouTube channel that has earned some donations from me. Kev had contacted me for a meeting one evening on Soi Buakhao but that did not happen. Rest in peace dear friend of Thailand!

  7. Very sad news regarding #KevinThailand Kevin Burt It was an absolute pleasure to know you. Rest well my friend. 😒#RiP

Copied from Kev’s sister Mel Tillbrook Facebook

Sadly at 2.30am this morning, Tuesday 7th April, my brother Kevin Burt, lost his battle with cancer and passed away.
To his friends and associates in Thailand, right up to his final days, he always spoke fondly of his time there and I know that he would appreciate it if you could celebrate his life in the manner that you were accustomed to spending time with him when he was with us and in particular at ‘The Hideaway’, in Pataya
To his family and friends in England, I can inform you that due to these unprecedented times, there will be a private and informal funeral ceremony in the next few and upcoming days but we shall notify you all when we intend to remember Kevin with a gathering to ‘celebrate his life’ , once the country gets through the #COVID19 virus in these next testing weeks /months

  8. Thank you Rob, your humanity is much appreciated. Take care. Bless him, and may he find as much fun and happiness wherever he is as he did in Thailand.

  9. Goodbye Kevin. Enjoy your new life now. I always liked Kevin. I could chat him up and ask questions on Facebook. I had a running joke with him, where I get pushing him to eat Gravy and Biscuits. (American style, don’t think about English Gravy and Biscuits, not the same thing.) I remember he sent me a pic of that very meal from Japan, I think it was. Told him it would stick to his ribs and help him gain weight. Alas Kevin never tried it. So he will never know the joy of eating Gravy and Biscuits. He was a good soul. I had hoped to make it down for one of his weekly eats, and have a few pints or 12 with the guy. He was just so likable. Anyways, I do believe I will get to meet him one day. Maybe sooner than I thought with this Covid-19 crap. He may have outlived us all.. ( In terms of age). Be well Kevin.

  10. Deeply sad news. God rest your soul Kev. He always conveyed the joy being in his beloved Thailand honestly and clearly.Β  A really decent bloke. A nice montage Rob, and thanks for your updates….sorry for the loss of your good mate. Rest in peace Kevin.

  19. Kevin I was with you from the beginning. I’m proud to say I was one of the first 1000 subscribers, And I remember the little celebration you had in your little home in Thailand.

Before you left Kevin, I’m sure you knew exactly what was going to happen after you died. You knew the people that loved you, we’re going to miss you. I’m sure you are exactly where you want to be. Kevin may you be in Heaven an hour before Hell knows your dead. Goodbye Kevin.

  20. SO SAD, Kev, Rob, and Sunny were the 3 people I think most of us got our education on Thailand and made us fall in love with Thailand, Special thanks to Rob for being an incredible friend to Kev in the last months of his life, we should all be blessed to have a friend like Rob God bless Kev and God bless Rob

  21. As a South African who plans to relocate to Thailand in the near future , hopefully when the world returns to normal. I watched alot of Kevs vids . He always gave a down to earth realistic depiction of the country and its people as well as sensible advice for people planning a trip there on holiday or long term stay. I did not know him personally and he certainly didn’t know me either but he helped me more than he will ever know.

I would like to say to him wherever his spirit may be, thank you Kev and may you be at peace. And thank you for sharing a part of your life that was your adventure in Thailand.

And to his friends and family I wish you all the support you will need and Gods love.

  22. Started to watch Kev’s YT channel 2+ years ago. Always loved to hear his catch phrase and enjoyed his fun loving personality. RIP Kev, we miss u mate. πŸ’™ Thanks to Rob for the consistent updates and wishing you the best.

  23. Rest in peace Kevin. This should be a wake up call for us all. Kev went to Thailand, decided to stay, and had what looked like a happy life over there. You can’t wait until tomorrow. Do it today. You never know what is going to happen. Enjoy life while you can get the most out of it. Final lesson learned. Thanks Kev!

  24. So bloody sad , always replied to a question with great spot on advise ! So so sad he didn’t beat it really thought he would ! My heart goes out to his family especially now while living on lockdown in this crazy corona virus time and losing a family member !Β
He lived his life openly and inspired people to get up and go see the world out there !!Β
Kev you will be missed , but still always there on U tube to inspire people !
Thank you Rob for keeping us all posted and hope your doing ok over there also bud !!!
lots of love from lock down London !!

  25. “Ello people” I think the first clip of him sitting down was when he returned from Samui and had a fall on the waterfall ! He had me in tears of laughter when he was talking about the waterfall. We’ll miss you Kev…

  26. I have just seen the video now. Rob thank you so much for this nice video and for the continuous updates on Kev you have given us in the last months. It seems yesterday when I watched his video where he talked about his cancer. Time goes by very quickly and life with it.
    RIP Kev!

  27. Anyway
    ….

People are unreasonable, illogical and self-centered.
    Love them anyway.
Honesty and frankness make you vulnerable.
    Be honest and frank anyway.
People really need help, but may attack you if you help them.
    Help them anyway.
The good you do today will be forgotten tomorrow.
    Do good anyway.
Give the world the best you have and you’ll get kicked in the teeth.
Give the world the best you’ve got anyway.
If you are successful, you’ll win false friends and true enemies.
    Succeed anyway.
What you spend years building, may be destroyed overnight.
    Build anyway.
If you do good, people will accuse you of selfish ulterior motives.
    Do good anyway…

    R.I.P Kev, cheers mate πŸΊπŸ‘
