In this video, I take you behind the scenes of an expat living and working in Bangkok, Thailand. My job is teaching English to Thai’s. This is a look at the lifestyle of a teacher who is employed full-time. I also talk about the stress involved in teaching in Thailand. Teaching English can be fun, and it is a rewarding career, but expats need to understand that teaching in Thailand is a real job. It requires most of your time, and generally speaking, teaching pays a low salary in the beginning. I love living and working in Bangkok. It is a lively city, with many things to do. However, because it is a full time job, don’t think you will have a lot of free time to travel, or money to travel with. Teaching abroad will make you a better person, but you may have to sacrifice a little of your life to be that person.
