More About Charles Harman

I have been a photographer since age 8, when I took my first photo with a Brownie Box Camera. This first photo was of the entire staff of my elementary school, which was promptly posted in the Alexandria Gazette a major newspaper in Alexandria and one of the oldest in the country. I grew up in Alexandria Virginia, went to George Washington High School where I was a photographer for the schools yearbook and newspaper. I had two Honda’s while living in Alexandria Virginia a Honda 50 and a Honda CB160. I went on to enlist in the United States Air Force in 1967 shortly after graduation for 20 years active duty as a photographer. I went to college while in the air force and studied general education for teaching and then I switched to Computer Science and studied programming. I ended up taking around 150 credit hours of courses but lacked English grammar and some math so did not graduate (yet). I have often thought of completing something here while I am in Cebu. I retired from active duty in 1987 and went on to work in two computer industry which I covered in the other file about me.
My current work here in the Philippines is in the Travel Industry as a tour guide. See: http://retirementtourscebu.wordpress.com/ We hope to soon be able to buy a small home here in the Cebu City area.
We currently own a home in Bogo Philippines.
I like to travel, take photos, visit beach resorts, ride my Honda motorcycle and spend time with my children and beautiful wife.
