A Story in Hong Kong City. Ft JR Alli | Cinematic video

JR and I had been wanting to meet up and shoot together for quite some time, and we decided Hong Kong City would be the perfect place to create some awesome videos! As the date got closer to leave for Hong Kong, we became anxious and cautious about the protesting that seemed to be getting worse. But took the plunge and decided to still go and pursue our journey. We had no trouble once we were there and fell in love with the Dense concrete jungle like buildings and were amazing to find so much nature surrounding Hong Kong. This was our journey to the beautiful Hong Kong City and what went down, we hope you enjoy 🙂

  2. 6:53 it isn’t a film or a movie. It is REAL. People wear in black, walk on the street. Picture LOOKS beautiful but what you can’t see is FEAR. They are afraid, I am afraid. We want to, we need to protect our home. Glory to Hong Kong citizens. We REALLY do fight for it. Anyway thank you and support you guys❤️

  6. Absolutely loved the visuals. But dialogue was clunky af. Keep on doing what you’re doing bro. But maybe take acting classes or just record genuine conversations to make the dialogue more believable. Just some constructive criticism. You’re awesome

  7. After all that’s happened the past week, we seriously need to appreciate and take care of what we have or else we’ll lose. Rewatching and listening to message in the end just makes this film more meaningful, especially with everything going on.

  8. I have been following you for a long time. I really like the content and story in your video. And I am in Vietnam looking forward to welcoming you one day in Vietnam and joining the travel film community with us. Thank you

  9. Thanks Ben! Amazing as always. The words you gave about Hong Kong are simple yet strong. Rather than just another insane video, it definitely means a lot more to us people. Cheerz. Can’t wait for the next one.

  10. I like your work but the message you trying to spread is a lot of bull shit! Hong Kong has one of the most freedom in the world. It’s rank no. 3 in the world. It is higher then USA no. 16. I am not sure what’s your background nor agenda. Keep your good work but don’t get involved with the politics that you don’t even know. Thanks

  15. This is my first comment in YouTube, actually, as a Chinese, I’m so moved about your masterpiece.Because the background music and sceneries are full of Chinese style.I’ve never been to HongKong, but I always now that HongKong is a part of our Country, thanks for your amazing shot.Besides, I live in Chengdu,Chengdu is also a kind and gorgeous city, pandas also live in Chengdu.Welcome you to Chengdu to experience this wonderful land yourself, sincerely.❤️🇨🇳

  16. Hey bro thank you for your visit to our city and you took amazing footages of it!!! especially for the final scene, that parade remind us (Hongkongers) of who we are.

  17. As a Hongkonger this is a true spectacle to watch, my sincerest gratitude for your beautiful portrayal of Hong Kong. You should definitely come film again in one of our protests (after the wuhan coronavirus died down of course), rest assured we will not give up until our five demands are met. Liberate Hong Kong, the Revolution of our Times.

  18. Hong Kong is still look like the Hong Kong before 1997… it’s a beautiful city! However, a lot of things charged in the past 20 years. I miss the Hong Kong I grew up from!
