Henry what kinda camera do you use?
@easyway i use a GoPro Hero3 Silver Edition. if i a moving around i use a monopod. but for stationary shots i often use a standard tripod.
will be there dec2; can i get anywhere w/ a t-shirt: “anybody wanna get married?”
@LifeBeyondTheSea – Philippines i dunno; i’ve been in manila makati/robinsons mall 6 days now, no interested filipinas, (except a couple obvious scammers); at 59, i don’t look that bad; will hit dumagete dec8, may have a ‘Dr Fred’ contact in bayawan, who may know someones’ sister for me; i would like to hook-up w/ a dumagete college-girl, as i tend to go a bit cerebral on life; can i meet you sometime? you’re on the move?
@Barry Smith ha!.. you will create your own parade with a shirt like that. 🙂
Nice video you should have made a third. the lady was very friendly also chick at 3:20 looked good she was camera shy
@Keith Whitehead i meet lots of friendly people here in the PH. many are just curious where we expats are from, or why we decided to visit their country. overall, very friendly people.
Henry …i think Bohol was a relaxing city more than Dumaguete which is more fun and activity OR i am wrong …..or might be you get more professional in represent the city you in…….Thanks
@AHMED Cass bohol was very relaxing. less to do but it all depends what a person prefers if they will enjoy it there long-term or not.
“..friendly and approacheable people…” and so are you, Henry. Enjoy the festival; the atmosphere, the food and drinks 🙂
@LifeBeyondTheSea – Philippines Nudge Nudge… Wink Wink… say no more.
@Rosita Morstad thanks, i had a fun time. i returned for 4 or 5 nights there.
salamat for the videos ,kuya. i wouldve tried that food at 4min25. looked tasty.
i also think that buffet in ned his video looks good, when he was invited by his friends.

ohh ok sorry then Henry
@Kriss Bartlett actually, i got so busy i am just now editing footage i shot during that month for the festival. 🙂
Very nice event, thanks for sharing. Loved to see the smiling and friendly people, it’s heartwarming.
I’ve never been to Dumaguete since this Buglasan Festival started. Great video update !
This is the area where we first dated with hubby in those gardens in front of Capitol 25 yrs ago hahaha !
Oh my how it looks now too many people !
i miss my home town… im from valencia,i check your videos everyday sir henry!! thanks a lot and God Bless You
So many friendly people . It just amazes me how the people in the states are so different . To say the lease. Great job on the vid Henry .
Great video. Looks like a great festival.
Nice video Henry, looks like a very entertaining festival. However, when I look at your videos from places like this and all the food, I can’t help thinking, what do the bathrooms look like? Not a very romantic question I know, but in practice, do you need to stay close to you hotel/apartment?
@Dennis Gundersen they had adequate facilities. but when you’re dealing with over 1,500+ people, the bathrooms (CR) will take a beating. ha!
Man, that is one big Festival
Henry, i want to see more of the food, can you pan alittle slower on your cam. Thanks
there is alot of people there, wow, and you said this happens often,,,,,, great, i hope you enjoyed and had fun there,,,, be safe,
You know…the Philippines may be able to promote itself by offering a type of Philippine Studies curriculum in colleges in the United States and other countries.
Now you’ve done it! I’m hungry again!
Looks like a great Festival
Would it be easy to approach women there mate?
Thanks for the feedback mate
Yes they had mostly school girls at the Carnival
@Brad S it is very, very easy to approach women in the PH, at a festival or just about anywhere. they are very friendly. one thing i did notice is that most festivals, it seems the majority of young ladies are under 18. more of those than those say, 18 to 23. my theory is that the over 18 girls are busy with babies (?) or jobs, or both.
Great down to earth presentation about the Philippines, well done
@Blackarts thanks, i’m glad to be out and about, on the streets and where it’s happening. 🙂
agree… it is festival time alot there, and yes always HI AND HELLO from the ladies is soooooo common…
+pedro bla bla yep. it’s a great place to be a single expat. 🙂
can live on barbacue,rice and mango shakes forever there,for 2-3$ a meal…lol
+pedro bla bla i’m a big fan of bbq.. love it.
4:15 kabayo-an or something like that. kabayo means horse in english. their not really selling horses meat at that festival right!?!? lol
